J.O. Williams has been licensed in the State of Oklahoma since 1979. (License #028) He served 2 terms as president of the Oklahoma Polygraph Examiners Association (an affiliate of the American Polygraph Examiners Association), was appointed by Governor George Nigh, on March 1, 1983, to the Oklahoma Polygraph Examiners Board, and served each of the succeeding five Governors, from 1983 to 2004, longer than anyone in the history of the Board, as Boardmember, Secretary, Vice-Chairman and Chairman. Since 1970, J.O. Williams has had a wide range of experience; owned an investigation and security company, served as a deputy sheriff, uniformed police officer, supervisor, narcotics investigator, interim police chief (during the transition period as Rogers University became Oklahoma State University-Tulsa), and is currently the Pastor of a Bellaire Assembly, in Tulsa. His extensive experience brings new meaning to the verse: Ye shall know THE TRUTH and THE TRUTH shall make you free!
