I found out when I called to reschedule my daughter's appointment that he's no longer with the practice. According to them, he's only working with newborns at the hospital now (but I'm hoping they just had a falling out and that's not actually true and that he's going back into practice for himself). However, I need to make my daughter's next appointment and don't look forward to the hassle of finding another pediatrician. UGH. Edited because I called Northside Hospital and apparently he is a neonatologist on staff there now and is no longer seeing patients. It would have been nice to have gotten some kind of heads up about that instead of finding out after the fact from the practice.

Dr Abrams left Pediatric Partners of Gwinnett as of Nov 7th. I truly wish he would have given his patients a heads up... for this is give him 2 stars but I love how he practices medicine. I now have a newborn who doesn't have a doctor:(

Love Dr. Abrams! He is a great doctor, and always takes time with you even when you have a lot of questions. I've seen a few reviews saying the nurse is rude. I know where they could be getting that from, but I don't believe she is being rude. She is very monotone and seems to have a very one leveled personality, but I just think that's how she is. She has always been helpful. I also love how Dr Abrams isn't judgmental if you are interested in trying more wholistic methods. Will go back as long as we can.

I have 2 children that have been seen by the doctor. I read a previous review about him being racist. NOT. His main nurse is black and outside of the office she's sweet, but can come across as very rude when assisting. The lady that claims she has money and doc did not vaccinate there.... honey you are on MEDICAID. They do no vaccinate kids on Medicaid. You have to go to health department. This is a HUGEEEE inconvenience, especially for me with 2 babies under 2. I have to drive to health dept and wait and wait. Needless to say, my 2 yr old is behind in vaccines. I wish they would vaccinate kids there, but I don't know why and I'm sure they have a good reason for it. Other than that, great doctor. My child is part African and he plays with both of my kids and is super sweet and caring towards them. Even helps me dress the baby back, while he's talking to me about their health. So nice considering my other child is usually causing a commotion! lol I will be going somewhere else as I have Medicaid and need vaccinations at their time of visit. The wait is long by the way. BUT they have free WiFi :)

Dr. Abrams is great. He is very patient and kind to the parents and the child. He spends as much time with you as you need. Very accepting of parents who do things differently with their children(non vaccinating, delayed vaccinating, homeschooling, biomed, etc) He does not overprescribe antibiotics. His nurse however is very rude! She speaks very rude to the parents. She talks to the parents like they are stupid. She is in the wrong field of work. I actually dread calling or going to his office, because I will have to deal with her. I took a star away due to his Nurse. If I was rating only her, she would get one star.

I had a horrible experience there. First off, Dr. Abrams' staff is rude! They talk to you any kind of way. Then, when I actually met Dr.Abrams he acted as if he did not want to touch my child of African descent. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that day and said maybe he is having a bad day. Now my son is on a delayed vaccine schedule, so when I decided to get the first shot they told me that I had to go to the health department. They refused to give him a shot there. I ran into an African-American woman one day and she told me that they also refused to vaccinate her child. They are horrible! Since my child is of African descent I have decided to take my child to a much more accepting practice. I feel much more comfortable where I go now. I do not get strange stares, or funny glances. I have found that no matter how much money I have, I still met Dr. Abrams' unkindness. Instead check out forums like mothering.com, baby center and other sites for pediatricians that will delay vaccinating and not push antibiotics. Although I live in Buckhead, I drive to another side of town.

Dr. Abrams was referred to us by my midwife because he is tolerant to non-vaccinated children. He works with our choices as her parents, and will discuss natural remedies as well as medical/pharmacutical. I called him late one night worried about my daughter and he called me back FROM GERMANY. Not his nurse, the doctor himself! Thats a good doc, right there. And when he realized it was a silly worry he didnt make me feel stupid. I love the nurse and the front desk is nice, but IMO the waiting rooms/play area/toys are not as clean as they should be. However, we drive an hour to see him and take a whole day off of work when my daughter has to go to the doctor because he is THAT GREAT.

we started with him when my daughter was born 18 1/2 years ago and have never had anything but wonderful service and attention. Their have been ups and downs with the staff but he usually gets rid of "bad eggs" quickly.

Dr. Abrams is really great. We just love him but... we hate going to his office because his staff is HORRIBLE. First of all most of the people at the front desk don't seem to know what they're doing. But the worst part of all is his nurse. I dread going to his office because of the nurse. There is only one nurse and I'm really shocked she chose to work with children in her profession. She is incredibly unpleasant and has a bad attitude in general. She is snappy and very rude. Not even sure seeing Dr. Abrams is worth having to deal with the nurse. But again, he's a fantastic doctor.

Dr. Abrams is confident and relaxed. He takes time to answer any/all of your concerns/questions and never pressures or uses scare tactics (you know those doctors!). His staff are top notch, as well.

I was recommended to Dr. Abrams by a friend and he and his staff are amazing! This is my first child and he listens to all my questions and answers them very thoroughly. Now he's my nephews new pediatrician! I recommend Dr. Abrams to all parents! He is wonderful!!

We started going to Dr. Abrams in July 2008, we love going there. I originally went because he was willing to work with me on immunizations (my kids don't have any), however that is not the reason we have stayed. He spends time getting to know me and the kids and always answers my questions. He doesn't over-prescribe and seems to have a common sense approach which I love. My son is shy and seeing the same person every time is very helpful!

Dr. Abrams has been taking care of my two boys for three years now, and we just think Abrams is AWESOME! Yes, in the beginning his office staff was not friendly, but I would deal with them any day just so we could see him. The staff has changed and they are a great group and are very friendly. What I love about Dr. Abrams is that he comes in the room and takes his time with us and tries to find the solution. He REALLY cares! Where other doctors want you in an out and don't care. And he may run late, but I do not mind because I know that he gives everyone his time. So, what are you waiting for make the change today!

I have found Dr. Abrams to be a very good Dr. He is very kind and genuine, and really cares and gives the attention you need. His staff has been very helpful and kind also. They have a big job to keep everything running smooth. I am sure it takes much work to deal with all the people and the phone calls. Thank you all for your help!

If you are considering a new pediatrician, take your kids to Dr. Abrams. He is very gentle and kind, listens to my questions and I never feel rushed. And he's not a Dr. who is quick to pull out his prescription pad so he can get the next patient in the room. We highly recommend Dr. Abrams.
