I'm no expert on Indian cuisine, but the dishes are very tasty and exotic. The vegetarian selections are very good. Patio dining is very nice and looks out onto the Civic Plaza green.

The Rolling Stones never went to Jewel of the Crown. Not the new location, not the old location. They CATERED for them when they were in town for a concert. That's why they can advertise, "We gave satisfaction to the Rolling Stones". And they did, the Stones enjoyed the food. So let's get the facts right, OK. Now, the food. Good as it always was, and I agree, the old location buffet was the best. New location next to SCPA in the Scottsdale Mall kind of in the corner there just down from AZ88.

Seen people like the rolling stones. Indian cusine not like a restaurant style. it is dumbed downed. Made one would make it at home. Definately a true North Indian Cusine From Punjab. They do not have a buffet any more have not had it for years. But when they did in a different location it was the best. it had taste, there were artificial food coloring added. but pure spice. it is bit pricy though.
