My husband was a patient of Dr. Jones very briefly in 2005. My husband had been diagnosed with malignant bladder tumors in 2003 and had a recurrence in 2005. We were referred to Dr. Jones by our insurance company. He performed a cystoscopy in office with a TV monitor where my husband had to see his tumors right up close and personal. That still is causing him nightmares. We then procede to the surgery. The day of surgery, we checked in as instructed then waited for two hours to find out they had forgotten us and now we had to be put at the end of the schedule for the day. Well, Dr Jones strolls in and begins his surgery, two and a half hours later he comes out and states, "well, I couldn't get into his bladder, I placed a foley catheter in him, he can still go to work and just live like normal, so just come back in ten days and I'll try it again". Well, shocked by the whole day's proceedings we agreed. This was on a Friday, after ther shock wore off and my husband lay in pain the entire weekend because he only gave him one and a half days worth of pain medicine, my husband called Dr. Jones to discuss with him what had happened. Dr. Jones got very defensive and began yelling at my husband asking him "why are you questioning me". We were just trying to better understand what had happened and why he couldn't perform the surgery. Apparently we will never know because he hung up and we immediately went to Cancer Treatment Center in Tulsa where we were taken care of.
