I went to Dr. Kahn with depression and anxiety. I had seen another psychiatrist previously and was on a medication called Alprazolam for panic attacks. I was on 3 mg a day and he made it sound like I was an addict. I looked it up in the PDR and the therapeutic range is listed at much higher doses (at least double for panic attacks and the PDR even higher). I kinda resented the suggestion "I" was "wrong" when my previous psychiatrist had given this to me. Furthermore to find out that Dr. Kahn was wrong about the dosage for panic disorder didn't make me more confident. But other than that.....he was really very nice and his suggestions for other medication treatment were in line with all the information I could find. Overall he is OK.
