Front staff was extremely rude (won't look up at you when you are right in front of them, etc.) and the waiting room was completely miserable - everyone jammed in and waiting. Wait time varied from 30 minutes (best day) to well over an hour for a less than 5 minute talk with the doctor or his assistants. Medical staff was OK and Dr. Kabakibou was pleasant although you rarely see him. As pain management goes, I guess it was OK as all you do was wait to pick up the same prescriptions every time, but nothing had been done or discussed to be more proactive to correct my issues. Also, I felt that they were constantly trying to sell me on additional injections and gadgets. No Dr appointment is enjoyable, but I particularly dreaded going here. I definitely felt like a number instead of a human.

Dr. K is sweet, knowledgeable and extremely caring. I see Dr. K for back pain injections. The front desk staff are not as welcoming and sweet as the nursing staff in the back. Once you get passed the front desk the experience is much more pleasant. The nursing staff is very compassionate. They hold my hand while I get my injections, as well as pat my back which makes the injection much more bearable. The nursing staff don't make me feel bad for being in pain and understand the discomfort I am going through. They try everything they can to make their patients feel more comfortable and to decrease the pain. The doctor is knowledgeable and understanding of patients in pain. He is realistic and states it as it is. He doesn't sugarcoat the situation and provides a realistic picture of the patient's condition. I like his bluntness and knowing where I stand with my injury. He also has a great sense of humor to make everyone feel comfortable and uplift their spirits. Dr. K returns phone calls promptly and does everything he can to help even on his days off.The wait time in the waiting room varies - from less than 5 min to 50 min. Whatever the wait may be, it is worth it. Dr. Kabakibou is a wonderful doctor with highly skilled sweet and caring staff. I would highly recommend Dr. K's pain management clinic to everyone.

Yes he is unusual but remember he is Indian not American. The important point is that he is an excellent pain management Doctor. I had horrible back pain and could not get an operation. I had to use a wheel chair most places. His treatments controlled that pain and gave me my mobility again. As far as medications go: it's pain management, if you don't like pills and needles then just live with your pain.

I had an experience with this doctor that indicated an extreme lack of integrity or caring. My pharmacist said it was a "Pill mill." (Just one person's opinion).
