My property was damaged by the employees of this moving/storage company. The owner, "Doc" Criqui and his manager avoided my phone calls for several days, when I was finally given a change to discuss the situation, they could not come up with any other explanation for the damage, but made it clear that since I did not witness them damaging the property with my own two eyes, they suggested I either submit a claim to my insurance or take them to court. "Doc" kept telling me they were stand-up guys, but would not reimburse me for the $175 damages unless I agreed it was only out of the "goodness of his heart". I have never been treated with such disrespect. I believe that he did not want to admit that his moving company would damage personal property, it would be bad for business, even though he knew it to be true. I ended up paying for the damage out of pocket because dealing with individuals such as the works at Kansas Van and Storage was a bigger burden than the money.
