I left quite a few items here with Karen to consign - all very up to date, high quality, and in perfect condition (as she noted). One of the items was a 3 piece St. John knit (value well over $1500 new - and this was only a couple years old). She sold it for $20 - which means $10 after the consignment fee. Karen said that is all she can get in Port Huron. There are basic blazers in her store for more than $20. This was a bold rip off. Plus I asked her why my mink jacket that was hanging on the rack did not have an ID tag or even a price. She said that she knows all the items in the store so it didn't have to have it. And that she was "testing" the market. There were quite a few other mink jackets in there - all with tags. This place is run down (and I'm talking about her "new" location), so I should have known better than to leave anything with her. Go somewhere else to leave your clothing for consignment - even if you have to go out of Port Huron. I feel completely ripped off.
