Review more on CORPORATE - in the past when purchasing a new car our first stop was Kauffman. We bought road hazard insurance on our tires - we were told this was available and had used several times. Recently had a tire destroyed - went to Kauffman (different from where I purchased the RHI) and now... we don't do that. Turns out the shop on HWY 9 didn't sell me the correct thing - this shop tried to help - but really did nothing to make a long time customer want to stay around...taking my business elsewhere.. just on principle

My usual inspection is at Wood & Fullerton GoodYear; however, driving out to Centennial was too big a risk. Since, Kaufmann is next to my neighborhood, this was the smarter decision, right? WRONG?

Dour Kurland was very helpful to me in locating a center cap for a wheel that had been discontinued. A lot of effort was put into finding this. I had already searched eBay and the web for one to no avail. Great follow-up and great customer service at all the Kauffman Tire stores I visited during this search. Many thanks!

I dropped in to have a tire looked at, and they determined that I needed a new one. They had me out of there in about an hour, at what I feel was a fair price. I would recommend them.

I purchased tires here after checking prices around town. I felt like they gave me options and descriptions of tires for my car and with no pressure to buy. They offered me a coupon which I used as well.

Husband took car for an oil change and tire rotation. Was told couldn't rotate tires..original tires and "dry rotted". One thing to be told "dry rotted" but ORIGINAL tires? One tire only about 6 yrs old..the others maybe 8. The vehicle had over 140,000 miles...original tires? Wonder if anyone else has gotten this kind of mileage on their tires? Any store to claim these tires were original doesn't need my business. Bought tires elsewhere.

I have been using Kauffman at Crabapple for a couple of years now, and have had only the best experiences. Brian at the service desk is always helpful and accomodating, and so nice to deal with. Because I've purchased all of my tires there, when I recently went in for tire rotation and for a patch on one tire (nail!) I walked out with no cash out-of-pocket. Sure, I "paid" for those things up-front when I bought my tires, but the price of the tires themselves were comparable to other places I researched, so I still feel like I came out ahead. And I really feel, when I'm waiting, that they're really trying to get me in-and-out in a timely manner.

Every time I go to Kauffman, I feel like I have to be on my toes. I forgot to do that today when I went in for Brake Service. On the plus side, I've never had any problems with the quality of their work. Tires, rotations, warranty, workmanship have all been excellent, hence the 5 stars. However, when I went to get my brake pads changed out, I feel like I was nickeled and dimed to the tune of $400+. I thought I would be getting the $120 standard brake repair since nothing was said as to which one of the brake services was going to be done. They went ahead and did the premium service for $190. My suggestion is for buyer beware. Get one of their little flyers they have sitting in their office and when you ask for the service, have them point to and/or check off the exact services they plan to do. I feel like a fool for not having done that. This is why they have 2 stars in Service, Value and Overall. And shame on Kauffman for making me feel the fool. I feel I can't trust them anymore. They've lost a customer of over 10 years. My next set of tires will come from another shop. --- Update: After learning about my post here, Doug called and offered his apologies on our miscommunication. After our discussion, I conceded it had been a miscommunication issue. He offered to compensate some of my money back which I accepted. On a down note, however, 2 days later, both my front tires' lug nuts were loose (all 10 of them) and I had to tighten them by hand.

When we dropped off our spare tire for repair of a flat, my husband took it out of the tire rack under the van; when I went back to pick it up (with out my husband), the employee who brought the tire out to my van refused to put it in the spare tire holder under the van. He said they didn't take it out and he wasn't putting it back in. I specifically asked him to put it in there for me as I didn't want a dirty tire placed inside the back of my new van. He said, "I wouldn't either" and proceeded to put it in the back anyway. Due to this "no customer service" I will not go back to Kauffman Tire again.

Quoted me a fair price for the service I needed. When I asked if I needed other things done, which another company told me had to be done, they told me that I didn't need it. They took the time to explain what the problem was and more importantly fixed it quickly and efficiently. All done for the original fair quote. Will come back for all my tire servicing.

popped a tire on a nail in the road and was very flustered! i went in and they were very courteous and explained everything~nice because i knew nothing about tires! my car was done when promised and i was charged a fair price, treated well and it was clean.

I have purchased all my tires and alignments here for the last 15 years. I have never had any problems with the service. Particularly enjoy the fix the tire free policy for customers.
