Been going to Kauffman in L'ville since they opened this location. They're always courteous, professional and genuinely concerned when I bring my cars in. They get the job done, at a reasonable price and I've never been disappointed. It's a pleasure doing business with them. They're the best.

I've used this location for over 3 years with spotty service throughout. I kept thinking they were making "honest mistakes" but I eventually woke up and smelled the coffee. Issues I've had with them: - Always try to up-sell, including most recently when I was told I needed to replace my wiper ONE DAY AFTER replacing them myself with brand-new top of the line wipers - Forgot to put tire valves back on the tires after service - Left the oil cap loose after an oil change and oil exploded across my engine block while I was driving - Did a terrible job cleaning up after - Failed to strap my battery back in after service causing the wire to break and my car to stop while driving on the highway - Denied that they would have touched the battery - Charged me $500 for a fluid flush, and was then told by TWO techs at the dealership that the transmission fluid and coolant may have been drained and/or topped-off but they had not been flushed as there was heavy sediment and discoloration in both - The Store manager said I was talking "Bulls#!t" and if I "REALLY FEEL" they didn't do the job, to bring it in and let them do it again - I have never been so insulted than when trying to express concern or dissatisfaction with this Kauffman's service. After spending thousands of dollars with company, you would think the General Manager would at least treat you with respect. I will never go there again. Don't make the same mistake I did. Go somewhere you can trust.

The front staff seem like kind and polite men working up front. The waiting area is clean and comfortable. BUT after a simple rotation and oil change turned out to my returning 3 times in three days with issues plus a small ding on my hood, I have lost confidence in the garage area. My experience has left me afraid to have thsi location touch my car in the future. I think I will try another Kauffman the next time my tires need a rotation.

I am a huge fan of the Duluth Station Kauffman Tire, so I expected the quality to exist in this location as well. Well, it doesn't. They tried to sell my husband the most expensive tires they sell and they always say things are wrong with your car that can usually wait to be fixed. The Duluth Station Kauffman tire is always honest and they tell you that you really have another 5,000 miles before things need fixed. Every time I've been in there, they've tried to sell me something.

Bought new four tires from them and had tree flats within 7 months. On the third flat tire, I inspected the valve stems and noted the one remaining one look very old compared to the new repaired tires. The technician indicated that whoever installed the tires used the old valve stems...I have had other troubles with brakes at the same store but not enought time to go into it.

I went to this branch to service my car and my lights did not work when I got the car back. When I called them to ask about it they said they would not have touched the lights but they "would take a look anyway". This was obviously their way out of owning up to fixing something that WASN'T broken when I took the car in. They must have done something to blow both bulbs up at the same time because my husband changed them out and it worked. They did not even want to take off the $14 for the parts!!!! Out of a $900 bill. They do NOT grasp the concept of "the costumer is always right".

I took my car in to have new tires put on and the service department tried to tell me I needed new brakes on BMW. Funny, I had just had the brakes done at the BMW dealer 2 months prior, I refused the brake job, took the car back to the BMW dealer who looked at the car and laughed saying the brakes were in excellent shape and that these guys were just trying to rip me off. I called back and talked to the manager to tell him about the bogus brake job scam and he could have cared less saying his guys must have been mistaken and confused my car with another vehicle. RIGHT! I am sure they service hundreds of bright blue BMW Z3s every day!

I recently went to Kauffman Tire on GA 20 and the lead technician was very concerned about my vehicles condition. He noted recommedations that should be done immediately and in the near future. I also found that they not only sell tires but they do all types of mechanic work too. Everyone was professional & honest. I would definately recommend this location, I know I will go back.

We had some issues with some tires (Pirelli) that we bought at this Kauffman. We took the car in to be fixed with specific symptoms. They said they fixed it but as soon as we drove off the lot we saw the symptoms. We went round and round with them several times and they never really fixed the issue. Throughout all of this they had a bad attitude and were not helpful. We even complained to the district manager for Kauffman. We eventually went to a different Kauffman store (Riverside) and got excellent service. Avoid this store if you can. It is worth the drive to go to the Riverside store instead.
