We upgraded my 1/2 carat diamond solitaire to a 1 carat princess cut. They gave me more for my upgrade that I paid for at Daniel's. My new ring had to be sized down ~ they promised me it would be done in 6 days but I got it back in 3! My new ring is heavenly. I could stare at it all day long! This is my first experience with Kay and and I so happy!!!!!

Brought my wedding band in to be repaired, 6 diamond chips to be replaced and resized. Brought it there on 5/7/08, said it would be ready in 10 days and someone would call with an estimate if it was more than what the sales girl had quoted me (about $125-150) ... 10 days later, the only call I got was that ONE of the two rings I dropped off for resizing was ready ~ the wedding band was not done. Go into store to pick up the one ring and find out what's up with the wedding band - the *estimate* is ready in 10 days, and they quote me - $624 - *BOGGLE!!* ... They said ALL 18 diamond chips have to be either replaced or repaired (prongs) - they will not and refuse to do the work on the 6 I wanted replaced and the resizing w/o doing the other 12 diamond chips... My wedding band wasn't at the store - they ship ALL their repairs out of state! I had to wait an additional 4 days to get my ring back. See Michael's Jewelers review for part 2 where I smile again. Every kiss does NOT begin with "K" ~ And the store manager, completely clueless with the personality of a piece of carboard.

My visit was one of practicality and honesty. The workers here have class, but also let you browse, and even answer your questions. They have all the high-quality merchandise you want, and they have some of it that's are affordable, too.
