I recently switched from another practice in the Kenneaw area. After talking with friends and neighbors I was referred to Kennesaw Pediatrics. Best decision I could have made for my family. The staff is informative and friendly. The office is kid friendly and on the cutting edge for technology. They always seem to be one-step ahead of other offices. They have a seperate sick room seperated by doors not just a half wall. You also have the option to stay in your car with your child instead of bringing them into a waiting room. What a great concept! My oldest is 14 and loves the "Teen Center", ages 13-21. He loves the fact that he is treated like a young adult instead of a baby. We just love Dr. Long and ALL of his staff. Keep up the good work!

First, if you don't mind being ripped off for substandard medical care for your child, then you won't mind this pediatrician! Each visit, no matter how small the issue is, EXPECT to receive an invoice for a minimum of $200 every time. If you go back to their office and you have a balance on your account, EXPECT to be immediately harassed for payment. For example, I arrived with my daughter for symptoms of strep throat. (NOTE: Multiple receptionists make it so you have to drag a sick child through a few office doors just to get checked in—not to mention exposure to other patients.) Then, I was told I had a balance on my account and asked how I was going to pay. Okay, if we take a step back, I arrived with a sick child!! It was completely disrespectful to ask for payment considering I received the invoice in the mail and the balance was not even 30 days past due. EXPECT to be given a pager while you wait for the nurse to call you—like the one you get when you're waiting for a table at a restaurant. DO NOT expect to be greeted by an actual person and open door invite into the patient room. Yeah, when your pager goes off, you'll have to find your own way back to the patient room. It is extremely impersonal! I think you get the picture - Oh! You should also know the reviews on their website are fictitious because they want to get you in the door. Don't fall for it! I would not take the time to review them if this was not a consistent experience. I'm looking out for you.

We just moved here from Cali and an amazing pediatrician. I was hoping to find another good one out here in GA and found KP to my wonderful surprise. I called a few places to make a Wellness appointment for my daughter and was forced to press numbers and wait on hold for minutes before I was able to talk to a receptionist. That alone made me skeptical about a few of the doctors I called. Then having them in big hospitals with inconvenient parking also dissuaded me. When I called KP they answered the phone right away and were able to get me in exactly when I wanted. The receptionist was polite and delightful to talk to. I also asked if they were in a small.office as opposed to a large hospital and she said they were. Large hospitals are daunting and make me feel as if I'm just a number. When I got to my daughter's appointment, I walked into a very colorful and welcoming environment. The receptionist checked me in and gave me a beeper that would let me know when they were ready for me. The nurse came out to get us and brought us back to the room. The halls were filled with colorful art made with stuffed animals of childrens favorite characters. The nurse was great and asked if we had any concerns. I told her about them and by the time the doctor, Sara Yount, walked in, she already knew of my concern and had written up a letter for me. Dr. Sara was great with my daughter. I had intended on getting my daughter her next set of vaccines but Dr. Sara said th

I really like the demeanor and competency of the doctors and staff at Kennesaw Pediatrics. When we've been there, they take their time with us and the expertise shows.

We love Dr. Strauss, Dr. Long, and Dr. Brugner! Our daughter has been with Kennesaw Pediatrics since her birth two and a half years ago. Dr. Strauss, our primary dr., has been so helpful in answering the incessant questions of us new parents, walked us through six months of colic, reflux, two years+ of our alternative vaccination scheduling, and various early childhood illnesses and has always been kind and gracious to us. We love him! We also love Dr. Long who has created this incredible practice that truly is an active part of the community and has the best staff from the front office, billing to nursing. Their lactation consultant worked with me tirelessly in the beginning and was genuinely kind. Our daughter likes the place so much that she does not fight going there because there are beautiful salt water fish to look at, the NY subway theme is so fun to watch trains while waiting, and the themed exam rooms keep her occupied. Very rarely have I had to wait longer than 15 minutes and that was only when we were being worked in due to illness. When you have an appt. they usually can respect your time and get you in and out in a reasonable amount of time. I also appreciate the "sick" waiting room to keep the healthy away from the germy. And as a first-time mom with a newborn, I was SO appreciative of the special newborn waiting room! Overall great practice!

I was pretty eager to tour this office for my upcoming birth. Got there at 5:30, I guess as they were seeing their last few patients...somehow a child who was waiting on her mother in the lobby was mistakingly included on our evening tour while the mother was checking out her other child...ok, I guess this is a mistake on both their parts- don't leave your 9 yr old in the Lobby to wait on you alone, and be sure you verify the participants of your guided tour...what really got me was the fact that when the mother noticed her daughter missing from the lobby, she immediately stepped out to her car to see if she had gone there...the office locked their doors on this last patient and when the woman returned just moments later, she found the office doors locked. We, who were on the tour had the awkward displeasure of listening to a frantic parent bang on the lobby door for 12 solid minutes while not a single person regarded her. Even the doctor on tour with us expressed his annoyance for the strange knocking....wasn't until we saw a frantic woman peering into our tour from a random window and scream and point "that's my daughter in there!!!" that anyone from the office paid her attention! Her daughter was on our tour and we all thought she belonged to someone on the tour! Your practice has so many rooms (18) that you can't keep up with who your patients are, and you care less about a frantic mothers banging on your doors just minutes after closing. Thanks but no thanks.

I have been taking my 2 children to Kennesaw Pediatrics for 4 years. I have always felt the doctors are genuinely interested and concerned in them both and work together with me to determine the best treatment. I am able to make appointments with my preferred doctor easily. It is great to be able to consistently see the same doctor. I actually like every single doctor we have seen, but my son usually goes to Dr. Long or Dr. Strauss, and my daughter goes to Dr.Brugner or Dr. Sarah. I always see an MD, they don't have PA's or NP's. We have had other pediatricians over the years and I can say that my experience with KP and Dr. Long has been the best. They are different, in all the right ways. I never feel like "just another patient/parent". I am confident that my kids are getting the best possible care with Dr. Long and Kennesaw Pediatrics

Since moving to the ATL area a year and a half ago, we have searched for a pediatric office to call home...after 2 tries at other offices, we finally found it at Kennesaw Pediatrics! You won't find a more welcoming MD office anywhere...the staff is amazing and the doctors and nurses have gone above and beyond to make my children comfortable at every appointment. From the time you walk into the waiting room, you will notice the difference. From the trains to the wall murals to seeing Nemo and Dory in the aquarium, your children will not want to leave. In fact, as we were driving by the office last week, my 9-year old son asked me if he could go visit Dr. Strauss. What in the world? Have you ever heard of a kid asking to go to the doctor? It's just that kind of place...thank you Kennesaw Pediatrics for all you have done and continue to do to keep my children healthy, you all are AWESOME!

I just wanted to let people know what a wonderful Pediatric office that we have in Kennesaw!! I have two children- 11, and 13 who have been going to Kennesaw pediatrics since the youngest was 5. They Always have room for my children when they are sick, even when I call at 4:00! They are open on Saturdays and Sundays ( which I've never seen before!) and the Doctors and staff are always happy to see my kids. I have an asthmaic child who gets sick quite often and they always make me feel like my child is a priority and I never feel like they are rushed to get on to the next patient. That is invaluable to me. My Daughter mostly see's Dr. Brugner, but have seen Dr. Long ( who is so wonderful with the kiddos!) Dr. Yount, DR. Levine and Dr. Babu. My Son generally see's Dr. Strauss. Even when seeing Dr.'s that we may not see all the time, they seemed to have all their information at their fingertips and I felt really comforted by this! Having just had a bout of Strep and then my poor little asthmatic having issues we have been at the office Twice this week and I just had to sing their praises!! Thank you so much to the Doctors and staff who are always so friendly, and take such great care of my kids!! This is truly a fantastic office!

We recently relocated from Miami and have two children; 9 & 2. Previous to moving, my children were rarely (if ever) sick. Since coming to GA my little one has been sick left and right. Coming from Miami where quality lacks everywhere, I was so excited to find KPed. Their office is aesthetically gorgeous. You can tell they kept child entertainment in mind which is a plus for parents while they wait. I do like that there is a sick and a well room BUT every time we visit, one of us gets sick 2-3 days later. I don't think the sick room is very sanitary at all. The wait can be over the top at times but quick during other visits. We've seen almost every doctor for flu, 4 bouts of strep, you name it! I like the Indian doctor the best. I think a couple doctors seem to be "floating in the wind" with their diagnoses or lack thereof. Shall I say, my high opinion of the docs is slowly diminishing.

Dr. Levine failed to properly diagnose my son and referred for an unnecessary CT scan. I refused. Dr. Long called DFCS without having ever seen my son. Dr. Long never saw my son but called him "grotesquely abnormal" over the phone. Kennesaw Pediatrics were using obsolete data. They came to an erroneous conclusion by not understanding the definition of the clinically significant symptoms. They did not perform the clinical tests they should have performed. They did not have the foggiest idea of the probabilities they were dealing with. They called CT scan "completely safe". All of the information was easily there to make the correct diagnosis. I did. Kennesaw Pediatrics' understanding of math did not compare favorably to a gifted, macrocephallic 4th grader. I was right all along. It took a real doctor about 1 minute to come to the correct conclusion. I had to fight very hard against these imbeciles to do what was in my son's best interest.

I have been taking my infant daughter here for about a year. Most of the experiences have been good. Sometimes the wait is longer than anticipated, but the staff is always friendly & the environment is enjoyable for her. They have salt water fish tanks, a train that runs throughout the waiting room & kids movies always playing (even in the rooms). I have tried two other pediatric offices in the area and was horrible disappointed.

We have been at K. Pediatrics for almost 4 years now and I would say the office has it's pros and cons. On the positive side: The nurses are friendly, for the most part, and we especially LOVE Hannah and Nancy/Nanci. The wait time is great compared to some other places we've been. The office is super kid friendly and my kids love the trains, fish tanks, and all the other cool stuff there is to look at. Also, we love that they have weekend appointments because my kids often seem to get sick on Saturday or Sunday. On the negative side: They have sick and well child rooms, but don't do a very good job of policing them so we often see sick kids in the well child waiting area. My kids always seem to get sick after we visit, even when it's for a well child check up. Some of the doctors are lacking in personality. I would recommend Dr. Long or Dr. Brugner. All the doctors are by the book, following AAP guidelines/suggestions for everything. For some this may be a positive, but I would prefer a more holistic approach to medicine. I would love if they had a osteopathic doctor on staff or maybe even a nurse practitioner. They are open to not vaccinating or delaying vaccines, but definitely not for it, and likely to lecture you. They're also likely to lecture you if you admit to co-sleeping with your baby. Bottom line, I'm sure the practice is better than most, but not the best fit for us.

I am so thankful for this office, staff and Dr. Long. You guys are always available. Even on a Sunday when people are resting from a long week. You guys are there working to provide great and quick service for the sick children. Not only are you providing great service, you are doing it with a smile. Thank you so much for your hard work and awesome service. My girls do not mind going to the doctors. They love the waiting area toys and the staff. Thanks again for all you do.
