I took my 7 year old daughter here with fear of a staff infection. I realize there is a first come first serve policy, which is fair and expected in a urgent care environment. I waited for 2 hours and discovered that a patient, who arrived 25 minutes after us was prioritized before us, so I inquired. I was told "i am sorry but some patients are more important." If a child is in medical danger and in of need immediate attention, I understand. But this particular child was playing and laughing in the waiting area when he arrived. I was so upset that a medical representative would actually say that to a patient, so I asked for a refund of my copay and attempted to leave. The nurse then proceeded to make a scene by attempting an argument in the reception area. Terrible experience -WILL NEVER GO AGAIN. Wait until you can see your ped, or go to another facility.

I called regarding whether or not to bring my child in for a urgent care visit, and a woman named "Joy" answered the phone. She was EXTREMELY rude, and told me that if I do not bring my child in he would die! I was so shocked by what she was telling me that I immediately called several people in the medical field (including my child's Doctor the next am), all who assured me he would be fine and I did not have to visit urgent care. It was completely inappropriate for "Joy" to try and scare me into coming in, and it was also unprofessional to describe in detail how and why my child would die if I declined to bring him in. I am unsure about the level of Medical care here, however due to "Joy" I will NEVER visit or recommend this place! Kid's Doc has got to have "Joy" retire and hire someone who actually is joyful, as those are the people who should be in this field.

Instead of staying up WORRIED all night about my child's fever, I found Kids Doc Urgent Care to be very helpful. I felt my child received wonderful care, making both of us have a better night.
