This facility advertises Love First, Teach Second, and on the surface they sell it hard but I found the actuality to be very different. Just like typical apathy and defensiveness excuses for not holding and nurturing the toddlers, and watched the woman in the next agegroup reading a book while the kids played. It's never enough just to give my child back to me alive at the end of the day. It's care, not survival. Very disappointing.

I needed a daycare for my sons fast. I called 20+ in the Douglasville and Atlanta area. I visited most of these and was the most impressed with this location of Kids R Kids. My 2yr son adjusted extremely quickly. He didn't want to leave the 1st day. The rooms are spacious and carpeted. I was afraid my 6 month would fall back and hurt his head. At one of the daycares I visited a child walked into an unsupervised room and no one came to look for her. Scissors were within a 2yr old reach. At other daycares the infant rooms were small as closets. The staff here is so friendly unlike other daycares. They know all the families. One of the teachers in the infant room has been there more than 13 yrs. This location has been open for about 20 yrs. They seem to have a genuine interest in the well being of the kids. They always have time to answer my questions. I get a printout detailing feedings, naps and # of diapers for my 6th month old. I have never seen my sons happier. My oldest couldn't wait for me to leave his second day at daycare. This was very unusual because he is usually so attached to me. I urge anyone that needs a daycare to check out Kids R Kids. I had to do extensive research when searching for a daycare and hope I can simplify the search process for others.
