I have been working at this Kids R Kids for a year now. I am amazed and impressed with the large number of people who have been working there since they opened eight years ago. The employees are dedicated and caring and are in this business because they love the kids and feel like they are making a difference. I am the teacher in the toddler room and I always have the supplies that I need. All I have to do is ask. My kids get awesome snacks and meals and as much as they want. The classes are not overcrowded because Kids R Kids actually doesn't follow the state ratio, their class sizes are smaller. The management is responsive and caring both about their staff and our awesome families. I can't say enough good things about this Kids R Kids location.

My children attended Kids R Kids for 8 mths & I was really disappointed w/ the poor&often disengaged management, $ focused owners, & consistently dissatisfied staff. The classes were overcrowded & they were unable to retain staff due in large part to their poor management. My child was enrolled in private pre-k (smaller ratio class and more perks/education than Georgia pre-k) but it was brought to my attention, by current and former employees, that the private pre-k teacher also had to consistently watch preschoolers in her class due to understaffed rooms. They consistently overcharged & I had to communicate the error each time. The field trips for students were not geared toward educational value. The consensus and reputation this facility held (by parents and current/former staff) is that new enrollment is their top priority, not the well-being of currently enrolled students. They will not move your child to the next level (when they reach the correct age to move up) unless you harass them to do so. I have witnessed staff yell harshly at children (at various times of drop off and pick up) and be stingy with school material (e.g. coloring pages, snacks, etc.). My children are enrolled in a new child care center and are thriving; learning more than they did at Kids R Kids. I am amazed by the happy staff who greet me whenever they see me, and the eager teachers who want to tell me about my child's daily progress. I never received this intera

My son Christopher has attended Kids R Kids for 2 and a half years. He started in the infant room when he was 6 months old and is now in the potty training room. The teachers are very loving and there is very little staff turn over. The staff and the management work as a team. The management are grateful to have such loyal employees and the teachers are very happy with the great work environment they have. This is evident in how well this school operates. I have referred several families, who are as happy and pleased as we are. Thanks kids R kids on Old Atlanta Rd. YOU ARE JUST LIKE OUR EXTENDED FAMILY!

I recently toured Kids R Kids on Old Atlanta Road and found the school to be "Top of The Line!" My tour was thorough and the manager was very informative and answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. My daughter is 2 and has never been in a child care center and I had many reservations concerning placing her in a group care setting, but after finishing the tour, I felt very relieved and at ease with my decision. After discussing this with my husband, we chose to enroll at Kids R Kids. The teachers in the classroom were very warm and friendly and took the time to speak and interact with my child.

The tour and registration were done right and very friendly however after observing the "care-takers" as they gave lunch to the kids I was in a state of shock. Two women were yelling at the kids to sit as they passed out plates. These kids were just coming in to sit and instead of talking to the child to keep their plates down all I heard were yells. Kids learn from watching and they weren't learning anything but rude behavior. Not only that but after a issue arose and I needed to speak with the manager I saw her true colors and I found a lot of anger and hated from the first glance. "Hugged then Taught" is their motto but it's more like "Yelled then Taught". I'm sorry to say that I was very disappointed in how things are run here. I hope they change their attitude towards children and adults.

My child goes to Kids R Kids and she has never been happier. She started in the toddler room and is now in the 3's. She loves to go to school and even asks to go to Kids R Kids on the weekends. It is very clean and the staff are well trained and very friendly. The management staff are very helpful and the owners are onsite and have handled any issues I have had. 3 families from my sub-division go to school there and we are thrilled to have such a good school. Before going to Kids R Kids we tried 2 other childcare centers that were similarly priced and they were horrible. WE LOVE HAVING A GREAT PLACE TO GO TO WITH THE PIECE OF MIND THAT OUR CHILDREN ARE WELL TAKEN CARE OF AND ARE LEARNING.

Management is trash. This owner lady behaves like arrogant king. She is very rude and we had hard time to convince her every now and then about payment. A advice : Please check their policies about payment specially after care program. They are expert in twisting payments even though you are careful. Stay away...

Several things need to change at this daycare. While watching their online cameras, I've witnessed the following: (1) The toddlers aren't given enough time to eat and they usually don't get their drinks until they're nearly finished. I've seen the daycare worker wait until the children are nearly finished before she passes out their drinks and almost immediately take them away. (2) The blankets and mat covers should be laundered daily. The children are suppose to have their own blankets and mat covers, but I've seen the daycare worker take them all up and pile them on a table in the dining area where she folds them to use again. Viruses can be spread from one sick child to the others by throwing their blankets in a pile. I've seen kids walking on other's mats and drag mats and blankets across the floor where they pick up more germs. I think standards should be in place at all daycare facilities where the Health Dept makes it mandatory to wash all mats and blankets daily to prevent illness, especially since the outbreak of swine flu last season. Common sense should prevail in preventing illnesses.

I purchased a groupon for 1 week and made called to make a reservation for Aug. 1st. A girlfriend of mine called me the following week and said that she was at kidsRkids and she tried to put her daughter in the same class as my son and she was told that I wasn't on list. I called kidsRkids immediately and experienced the worst Customer Service thus far. I was told that they don't reserve over the phone, and that the week I wanted is booked, and that my friend took my spot. I was furious and the lady said she will see what they can do. Another lady called me back and said that they can't open up a spot that doesn't exist. She tried to twist everything around to make it seem like it was my misunderstanding. I was very upset and tried to stop her from twisting things around, then she told me if I'm going to keep talking over her, that she would hang up on me. And she did! She could have simply said "i'm sorry for our mistake" and it could have turned out differently. I got a refund from Groupon immediately and they apologized. I don't know how you can trust a business who can't simply admit to a mistake on their part. What more, trust my kids with them.

I really hated to leave the school half way thru the Pre-K year but we got a house and was forced to change schools. My son's experience at this location was great!!! He loved his teachers and his friends he made.. We were very sad to have to leave...

My daughter has been going to Kids R Kids for 2 years and it has been wonderful. She has learned so much and has had a great time in the process (isn't that what really matters). The management and staff are great and I feel comfortable leaving her there each day. The ability to check in on her during the day as I'm working is a plus as well. Kids R Kids is all about the children. I could not think of a better place to leave your kids!!!!! As for the comment regarding the price of lunch, (this also includes 2 snacks during the day) $30 seemed high to me as well until I researched and found that other centers were charging the same price or more.

I agree with LuckyMom. The facility is beautiful but management is rude and money hungry. Ever since the Director left the center has gone down hill. How could they charge parents $10 for a class CD that a teacher made. And $30 a week for lunches that my child hardly ate. Luckily the teacher my child had was incredible and I would have left if not for her. This business is not in it for the sake of the children, only $$$. I would not recommend leaving your child here for looks of the facility.
