Read ALL of the reviews before going here. Short worded 5 star reviews are probably fake. Trust your gut, show up unannounced so they cant stage how they run things. What I saw when I scheduled my tour and what I actually got were 2 different things. The child to teacher ratio was offer way over, the teacher was obviously not qualified, and one time there was a child playing in the trash and putting the bag in his mouth. The teacher may have noticed if she didn't have 3 kids over the dcs limit. They lied about naps and offer left children in their beds crying for extended periods of time. There's a reason this place is cheaper than the rest with constant openings. Check other sources. They have a 2.3 rating on Facebook where its harder to fake reviews

Horrible place! Staff not educated, owner/director very unprofessional and vindictive person. Lots of complaints filed with in the past year! Check it out! All have been validated! That should speak for itself! This awful place should not be in business, and probably wont be for very much longer!

What are you talking about jaylam; and I quote, "These are your children that we are talking about here." We are NOT talking about children; we are discussing KLA and what does religious affiliation have to do with a day care review...Absolutely Nothing!!! By the way sweetie, we did do the research and we are going with our own instincts as you suggested and the outcome which is: KLA overall rating went from a 3 star rating to a 0 rating, there are numerous complaints about KLA at DHS, the director's professional development rating went from a 3 star rating to a 0, her qualification rating went from a 3 start rating to a 2 star rating, KLA's overall rating is a 0. Pray about that! Your review jaylam was not helpful at all. KLA IS NOT a great place for children and you know that.

This is a great place for children. Please be smart enough to do your own research people. These are your children that we are talking about here. Go with your instincts and regardless of your religious affiliation, pray.

I am a current parent of KLA. Up until the last 2 months I have had a positive experience with KLA. However, starting in September several parents removed their children for various complaints. (5 children that I know of so far) The state has been called a number of times on this facility and a program evaluator has had to come and do inspections 2 or 3 times in the last 2 months. This is in addition to the health dept violation and the inspection that they did last week concerning a plumbing issue that went 3 weeks without being repaired. The manner in which the director has handled these complaints and the loss of so many children has proven to be extremely unprofessional. The director has questioned parents about conversing with other parents and swapping information about the center. She has interrogated her staff and even demanded phone records to find out if staff is communicating with parents about closed door policies and procedures. She has made threats against the parents who have removed their kids from her center and she has withheld personal property out of spite. She often combines classrooms during the day making the teacher:child ratio far out of compliance and interfering with the children's routine and schedule. My child is on a waiting list for another center.

They have had a plumbing problem for nearly three weeks. The owner/director has made NO attempt to fix this problem. The smell of sewage has been so bad that 2 children have gone home sick. Water from the pipe leak is constantly on the floor where the children play. This is just one of the several safety and health violations that this facility has. Things are patched up for state inspections and then let go when the coast is clear. I called to file a complaint this morning on the plumbing problem and was told that several other complaints had been filed over the last 6 months and that this facility was on probation. I am embarrassed to say that my child has been enrolled here. Fortunately , we are on a waiting list for another facility. I plan on removing my child and never looking back! Do yourselves a favor and find another center! ASAP!

Lets see where to start. The staff are untrained. The director is confrontational and defensive when problems or concerns are brought to her attention. Supplies come up missing on a regular basis. A daily supply log was created but is very seldom filled out, is never in the same place twice for parents to sign it and is never updated. The playground consists of mostly concrete which results in lots of scrapes and bruises when kids fall down. The toddler staff is untrained and unprofessional. They dont pay attention to the kids. I have heard teachers usng foul language in front of the kids. They blare rap music during nap time. The director yells and screams at staff members infront of the kids. She bad mouths parents to other parents. She is rarely available when problems arise and when she is she is defensive and offers no solutions just excuses. THe tuition is cheap but not worth it.

I had two kids enrolled in this center for several months. I had a few minor issues that I had to address from time to time such as my sons diapers coming up missing and his ointment being gone way to soon. But nothing serious. The straw that broke the camels back was when I went after nap to pick them up and I witnessed the toddler room teacher thumping my son behind the ear. She said "oh we just play like that he likes it." I told her "Well I do not like it and I do not want to see it again. It is not acceptable." I had two kinds enrolled here and I removed both of them shortly after this incident. The staff is unprofessional and they don't have enough experience. The director is confrontational and unprofessional. The staff does not communicate properly with the parents and there is no organization at all. Kids are swapped back and forth from the infant room to the toddler room making it very hard for them to establish a routine. I would not recommend this center at all.

Our son has been going to KLA since he was 18 months old, we recently found out he is Autistic at age 4. The director and her staff have been so helpful and supportive of our situation, and have continued to meet our special needs for our son. We are so pleased and are not looking forward to leaving next year. I feel at KLA all the staff take a personal interest in the children that are there, and from what I have seen they are very attentive to the children. I did want to mention my child is not the only special needs child at KLA, and want say for parents like me and in my situation you DON'T just leave your child just anywhere. I highly recommend this center, and after you meet or speak with Mrs. Darlene you will know what I mean, she will go out of her way.

I am very pleased with KLA, never had any issues with my children there. The staff is welcoming and attentive to the individual needs of my children. Director is nice and always willing to help out people. They have cameras which is a plus! That extra assurance is always nice! Food is really good too!

My child attended this facility for over two years and I was really happy with there service. My only complaint would be the turn over rate on the teachers. The last six months he attended the had over 5 new teachers.
