This legal team handled my case with professionalism and tact. Coming from an emotionally abusive marriage, I was frightened by the idea of divorce and extremely overwhelmed by the process. Jeff carefully walked me through each step, educating me and empowering me to take the necessary steps. With his expertise on my side, I was able to confidently stand my ground and do what had to be done. I hate divorce, but if you find yourself needing one, as I did, this is the place to go.

Being a military service member I was immediately drawn to Mr. Cleghorn by believing he understood what I was going through and how to best argue my side to the courts on family law and how opposing counsel's client was a liar and unreasonable. I went into this battle believing I had a fighting chance, but my case was passed on to a junior lawyer who was so intimidated by opposing counsel that he began to take her side, and even began having hour long conversations about the most insignificant details pertaining to my case and then having the audacity to bill me for their talks. Needless to say KNL did not represent me any further in the matter, during my time with KNL the firm was not very well known and I highly recommend potential clients to steer clear of KNL as they are a money sucking leech that does not need to be fed.

I spent over $30,000 with this firm during a divorce and got my butt handed to me on a platter at every rurn. Do not put your faith in this firm unless you are prepared for disappointment when push comes to shove

After assuring me he would fiercely represent me in Court, I worked with Mr. Cleghorn for several months to prepare my case. I flew to GA the day before trial & he told me he decided to let a colleague represent me in Court. He passed me off on someone with much less experience and acted like he was doing me a favor because the younger attorney with less than 5 years experience charged less. Even though I protested that it would cost me MORE if the young attorney lost, Cleghorn dumped me anyway, saying he had just had a "tough loss" in Court and his confidence was affected. So he Hung me out to dry the DAY BEFORE COURT. When the judge denied my petition for legal fees because the lawyer failed to argue my case, Mr. Cleghorn "offered" to lower his bill, claiming it was an act of good will. Looking back on it, I should have fought the charges, for what I believe was unethical conduct. Instead I paid the bill and swore I would NEVER use this firm again.

Wanda, you and Jeff were the voices of calm and peace for such a crazy time in my life and I'll always appreciate that. I received amazing service, and best of all I have no regrets that so many people feel after the emotions have died down. You have an amazing team there and I've already recommended the firm to others. The matter went to court and it was a pleasure to watch Jeff Cleghorn - absolutely demolish the opposing counsel. Every argument they brought up by citing irrelevant cases he countered by citing the correct precedent cases and even provided copies of the cases for the judge and the opposing council. The case was dismissed - Throughout the process their quick response to my questions (so that a layman could understand) and incredible attention to detail showed that they cared about my situation. They turned down several of my suggestions that would certainly have netted them a higher fee but which would not have advanced the case in the correct direction. Am I pleased with Kitchens New Cleghorn - absolutely. Do I recommend them - without hesitation.

Never written one of these before but don't want anyone to go through what I did. I can't say much as my new attorney is suing them to get some of the money back I paid for which I got nothing. One point, they only have one office in Buckhead - the rest are office space companies where you can use the address and conference room - not a lawyer office.

I was thrilled with the representation I received from Kitchens, New, Cleghorn. I had complete confidence from the onset that my divorce would be handled in a professional and respectful manner and that the needs of my children and myself would be pursued with diligence, and I was right! Jeff and Christie worked to make sure that my settlement was one that would allow for the children and me to maintain our normal lives and that my ex-husband would not be able to get out of his obligation in the future. My settlement agreement was very creative and well thought through. I have and will continue to refer people to Kitchens, New, Cleghorn in the future.

I made a costly mistake when I hired Jeff Cleghorn to handle my legal case. He was dishonest, used scare tactics and gave me poor legal advice. I encourage you to continue your search for a different attorney and do not consider this person to represent you. I wish him no ill-will but I regret hiring him for my case. I hope I have helped someone out there from making a big mistake.

The Kitchens & New team are way ahead other lawyers I have used. It seems like they can fix any problem I run into without much effort. I have always been really impressed by them.

Kitchens New Cleghorn LLC handled my divorce (complex!) and my Will (straight-forward) in 2006-2007. More recently, they drew up a unique lease for my home (pretty simple). They have been my resource for all legal questions and concerns. Whether your legal matters are simple or complex, Jeff Cleghorn and Randy New can work for you, quickly, efficiently and thoroughly. They and their colleagues are experienced, knowledgeable individuals of high moral standards. That's what we need when we look for legal help.

Two years ago I was sued over an automobile that was repossessed from my former wife. Kitchens New lawyers reviewed the case and quickly determined that the suit was without merit. They informed opposing counsel of the problems with the suit but the opposing counsel would not listen and actually tripled the amount of the suit. The matter went to court and it was a pleasure to watch Jeff Cleghorn, a Kitchens New partner, absolutely demolish the opposing counsel. Every argument they brought up by citing irrelevant cases, he countered by citing the correct precedent cases and even provided copies of the cases for the judge and the opposing council. The case was dismissed and my credit report will be cleared shortly. Throughout the process their quick response to my questions (so that a layman could understand) and incredible attention to detail showed that they cared about my situation. They turned down several of my suggestions that would certainly have netted them a higher fee but which would not have advanced the case in the correct direction. Am I pleased with Kitchens New - absolutely. Do I recommend them - without hesitation.
