Our goal is to treat our customers the way we ourselves want to be treated when we are in the customer role.
We purchased a newly constructed home in Phoenix in 2002 and developed some air conditioning problems some eight years later, with keeping the house cool. The contractor that originally installed the equipment were called and they advised me I needed an entirely new system because a bad compressor at a cost of couple thousand dollars. I inquired around and was told to give Kool Energy a call. They came out to the house; inspected the entire unit; diagnosed it and found out it was not the compressor at all, just the defrost board. That repair only cost a few hundred dollars at a mere fraction of the cost quoted me by the other company I dealt with. It works perfectly and they saved me money.

Had a repair done but shortly after it failed, second repairman couldn't find evidence of first repair being done. Promised refund by Eva at Kool Energy but still no sign, posted a review and was offered 100 by Eva to take it down.

This review sounds awfully similar to Halkinghorns review below. If so, you have already left 1 review on Kudzu already and numerous other reviews all over the internet and this was over a year ago. If this review was posted by somebody else, we have no record of any customer dissatisfaction in which we offered a $100 refund. Also, prospective customers, please note that Eva has not been with our company since January 2009 and yet this was posted in Sept. 2009. Could firstfridayman be a competitor? The bottomline is that Kool Energy ALWAYS stands by our customers and does whatever it takes to make them happy including a full refund if warranted. We have NEVER offered anybody money for removing a review. And if we found a technician charged for a repair he did not do, he would be fired immediately. But that is not the way Kool Energy operates; I doubt we'd be in business for 32 years if we did.
I am very impressed with their service. They took my call right away and sent the next available technician out to look at my unit. They expedited a part that I needed and was able to complete the work before my out of town guests arrived ...and for a fair price. I will definitely use Kool-Energy again. They did what they said they would do..when they said they would do it. I'm a happy customer.

Researched several companies before choosing Kool Energy Air for our home a/c spring maintenance. The service was excellent. This is the first time in 12 years that a service person has entered our home with boot covers in hand. The gentlemen was respectful of our home. We were quite impressed. He was courteous and knowledgeable. He did a great job! Highly recommend Kool Energy!

Kool Energy was very easy to work with. They showed up on time and serviced our air conditioner. When we had an issue a few days later they returned and fixed the problem quickly.

called for a tune up special, charged 550 for parts without warning that work beyond tune up done, air went out 40 days later, workman couldn't believe any recent work had been done, contacted Kool energy and 15% refund promised. 60 days later check still not received. 120 days later refund check still in the mail.

hallkinghorn: When you called and told us that another company told you no parts had been replaced, we returned to your home the very next day. At that time, one of our supervisors did verify that, in fact, the parts had been changed. He asked if we in fact got your unit up and running that day; you agreed we did. He asked if you now believe that we did replace the parts you were charged for; you told him you believed us. Regarding work being done without warning, I cannot speak with the technician as he is no longer employed with us. However, it is absolutely against our policy to do any repair work without authorization from the customer. If this happened, we want to apologize and we want to make it right with you. We discussed with you a partial refund. We have since left several phone messages with you in an attempt to come to an agreement of refund and to request that you edit your review to reflect the fact that the repairs were warranted at the time and in fact completed. We are not in the business of ripping off our customers by charging for work not done as your review currently states. Please contact us so we can come to an agreement; we do not like to leave our customers unhappy. -- Kool Energy - - 1/2/09: Customer still has not contacted us after we left multiple phone message in an attempt to resolve this matter. My A/C went out late Friday night and within an hour of calling on Saturday morning they were at my house. The technician was extremely thorough and very knowledgeable in answering my questions. I was extremely pleased with the result.

The evap cooler on our rental property in Tempe went out while we were out of town. The office let us coordinate all the repairs and payment over email. The rep I worked with was very quick to respond, professional and helpful given our situation. Overall, very happy with the work they did for us.
