We stopped at this restaurant because we were desperately searching for a place that was open and had a TV for us to watch the playoffs after we had spent the weekend at the Ocotillo Wells SVRA. This one was a bit out of the way, but not terribly so, and when we arrived we were stunned at the beautiful hotel we found tucked away there. We followed signs for the Red Ocotillo Restaurant to get there. The bar, the Krazy Coyote, within the hotel, had a great breakfast selection and the potatoes were amazing. The prices were very reasonable and the staff was incredibly friendly. They even informed us that their patio was dog friendly, so if we wanted to, we could bring our dogs onto the patio and eat there. The decor is festive and they have pictures from the hotel's (The Palms at Indian Head) heyday when it was first built. If you are heading to the Anza-Borrego park or Ocotillo Wells, be sure to stop here and grab a bite and a drink - you won't be disappointed.
