I am psyched! Last year, I pre-ordered their Vegetable Savory Tart, Roasted Cauliflower Gratin, and Goat Cheese and Fruit Tart to fill-up my Thanksgiving table. I always had very good food here. Better than all the other La Boulange locations, as a matter of fact. Do they have better chefs? Maybe, right? Also, I first stopped by the Cole Street location to place my order, but after I saw the tiny Thanksgiving Menu on the window, I was dismayed. I asked one of the people who manned the counter if there were any other options, like the tarts they have on display, but he just shrugged and gave me a spacey stare. Virtually the same thing happened to me at the Union Street location, save for another employee who I got handed over to because the woman was too busy. This employee, a Japanese lady, was patient enough to explain to me that if I didn't like the current offerings, I can always choose from their ENTIRE MENU at the back of their Special Order Form. This menu was the all-out menu I was looking for. I was in a huge rush though, that I didn't realize I should have ordered my Brioche and Olive Boulot from them too. Oh well, they were available when I picked-up my food anyway. Here's for excellent customer service on that lady's part. Thank you!!!

Dined at this restaurant with my mom and husband this morning. It was raining cats and dogs, so the hubby had to let us out at front, and then find parking. Parking's bad as usual. Also, we were originally going to the other breakfast place down the street, but they were still closed. We ordered at the counter and sat down. A while later, a man brought over my coffee, none for my mom. She had the same thing. Annoying so far. She got up at the counter and I hope she didn't pay for her drink again because I already paid for it. Also, when the food came around, the guy from the kitchen circled several times and we told him it was our order. Since the other guy already took away the number sign they gave us at the counter, the other guy didn't trust us, so he just ignored us and went back into the kitchen with our food. My husband this time had to go up front and tell them what happened. When we got our food back, my husband's was missing bacon. I ordered bacon, was charged for it, and didn't get it. It was going to take too long to order more and we didn't want to go through the same fiasco, so we just ignored it.
