After being told by Sears it would be two weeks before they could come out to check my dryer, I found Lanny Adams on Kudzu. They were able to get someone out that day! After figuring out it was the breaker and not an issue with my dryer, the technician immediately went out to buy a replacement part. I had a serviceperson from our heating & air company out at the same time to check our non-functioning furnace. He said it would be 4 or 5 days before he could get the replacemant part we needed, but that it was no big deal because it "wasn't cold." Fine, except it was going to be in the 30s the next day!! After he left, the Lanny Adams repairman asked if he could give me a quote for the same job. Not only was his quote 25% less, he was able to get the part the NEXT DAY. He squeezed us in the next day so the house was toasty in time for the cold weather. I LOVE this company and I'm recommending them to everyone! I can't say how impressed I was by them :)

they called back to confirm working me in on a late request for service as this involved refrigerator/freezer. office called when the tech was on the way. tech arrived as agreed. throughly explained the repair and the cost. when I have another appliance issue I will again use this company.

Service technician showed up on time (company called when he was on his way) and repaired our oven perfectly. The cost was reasonable and no mess was left behind. He even tolerated my questions with patience and gave detailed answers to everything I asked. I would definitely use this company again.

I have used Lanny Adams for several years. When my AC went out over the summer,I called Lanny Adams Appliance and they were courteous, prompt, and reliable as usual. I needed my AC replaced and they had me up and cooling in a very short time. Thanks again to the technician for the timely replacement of my AC.

I found this company via Kudzu and submitted an online inquiry late one night last week for refrigerator and oven repairs. By 8:30am the next morning I received a call from their courteous schedulers who set me up for the next day. They called to confirm 30 minutes prior to the appointment and arrived on time. Our technician Avery was very nice and quick to diagnose the problems with my ice maker, filter and water intake valves. He replaced these quickly after providing a written estimate. Avery diagnosed my oven problem and suggested that the price for replacement parts and repair probably warranted a new oven even though he didn't sell appliances, only repairs them. He also guaranteed the repair price for 90 days. Avery worked diligently and took the time to educate me on preventive maintenance and answer my questions. I like to support local companies and will recommend this company to all friends and family. Good quality work performed at a fair price. They even called me afterwards to make sure that i was satisfied with their work. I have found a new company for appliance repair and have already referred them to a family member. Good people who are worth using. They also provide AC/HVAC repair and I plan to begin using them for this as well! Thanks for a great experience. Walt D - Atlanta

My problem had to do with a sick furnace. It had stopped heating at a time when the temperatures were beginning to dip into the cold range. I called and set up an appointment; hoping for the best. Their response from the first phone reply to the actual service was professional and positive. I have dealt with a variety of service oriented companies over a span of many years and have never had an experience this positive and satisfying. Beginning with the personnel in the office, to the service tech who came to my home, I felt confident and assured the job would be done competently and correctly. They didn't stop there, they followed up with a phone call to verify the service was done to my satisfaction. Thank you Lanny Adams Appliance Service.

My mother called Lanny Appliance to have her heater service to begin the fall season (would not come on). A service tech came out was under the house about 15 min. came in and knelt down on his knees and told my mother and I that he would have to condemn the heater. He was surprised that she hadn't already had trouble with carbon monoxide. Took the panel off and found a crack right in front of your face. He continued to look found another crack. He told us there is 2 cracks and it has to be replaced. I called another heat & air company. They came the next day, worked on heater for 4 hours, replaced a few parts and my mother's heater works beutifully. We were assured there is no cracks in the heater. Called Lanny to advise him that his employee lied. Lanny wanted to check for himself. Lanny came with the technician. Lanny admitted to my mother and me ". . . he lied about the crack." Lanny assured me and my mother he would not be letting this technician go. This could have cost my mother thousands had she went with what Adams tech intead of a few hundred to repair the heater and we would have never known he lied. Be ware if they tell you, you need a new heater. This happened the end of Sept. 2012

Everything this customer has stated concerning that initial visit did happen. When I spoke to her about this, I told her this was a very serious charge that could not be taken lightly and I wanted to get to the truth of this matter. At my request, she allowed me to return with the technician so he could show me the two cracks he found. The technician was unable to show me the cracks. I told her that what our technician put on her invoice was not true. I told her I was not going to fire him but that I was going to take strong disciplinary action against him. I did not fire him because he has given me well over 20 years of faithful service and I have never before had such a charge brought against him. It seemed that this was not pleasing to her. She was very angry. I understand her anger, for I was also angry. I have been in business for 35 years and have gone to great lengths to protect the reputation of my company. I will in no way allow deception and fraud. We deal honestly with our customers, whom I greatly value. There are page after page of testimonials from our customers commending our company. There is no excuse for what has happened in this case and I take full responsibility for it. I have given my deepest apology for what has happened in this situation. I am taking several steps to make sure that it never happens again. In addition to speaking very strongly with the technician involved, the following is a letter to him which will be posted in his personal record with our company: "You have been in our employ for many years. You are my personal friend and your father was a close personal friend. I have trained you and watched you grow. You do some of the best work in our company. For these reasons I am not going to dismiss you for this single incident. However, I am not at all pleased with your misconduct in this case. If another charge of this type should arise in the future, I will, without further notice, dismiss you from our employment. You know me and by now certainly know what I stand for. To prevent such a thing from happening in the future, you will provide to our office credible evidence of any cracks in heat exchangers on furnaces by photos, or operating conditions observed before any new furnace is installed. This information will be related to me prior to any installation. You will not state that there are any cracks in any heat exchanger without visible evidence. There will be no exceptions to this policy." I have apologized to the customer in this case and refunded all money she paid. I also apologize to those in my profession who have to fight against the stigma attached to such actions. This conduct affects all of us. Lanny Adams
I have a GE side by side fridge that stopped freezing. It's 6 years old and didn't want to spend money on another. I had a GE before that lasted 10 years. I called Lanny Adams based on the reviews on Kudzu, and I must say I was pleased with the service. The technician came the same day I called, and he was professional. He told me what possibly caused the problem, and what I should do to prevent if from happening again. My fridge was promptly repaired the same day. I highly recommend Lanny Adams. Much cheaper than spending $1000 on a new fridge! Sharon

My fridge had gone out due to a power surge. I gave them a call and the super nice repair guy came out the same day and diagnosed the problem right away (a blown circuit board. He also recommended I purchase a surge protector just for the fridge (I never would have thought of needing one). While it wasn't a cheap repair, it was a lot less than buying a new fridge. I've got their magnet displayed so I will remember who to call next time I have a problem.

The fridge side of my side by side fridge started warming up so I selected Lanny Adams from Kudzu.com, based on the rave reviews. They arrived exactly on time the next day, which was a good thing, since my freezer stopped working overnight and I woke up to a puddle of water on the floor. The repairman was very courteous, and explained very clearly exactly what the problem was and what needed to be done. It turns out he had to come back another time because he didn't have the part to complete the repair, so he fixed it enough keep my food cold, and on the next visit (on time again), finished the repair. I felt that I got great service at a fair price and will use them again when the need arises. I am an extremely satisfied customer, so here is another rave review to add to their long list. You can't go wrong with this company!

My dishwasher stopped working and Dameon came and found a fuse had blown....a repairman previously had told me it was the whole panel and wanted $300 to repair plus he would have had to order the part from Samsung. He didn't pull out the dishwasher and examine it like Dameon did. Once Dameon found the problem he left to buy a fuse and returned to put the new fuse in and my dishwasher was up and running again. My bill was far less than the 1st repairman plus I got a senior discount. I would hire them again the next time something breaks without question.

I had dryer issues and found Lanny Adams on Kudzu. It turned out to be my dryer vent rather than my dryer, but they told me the visit price up front, which was fair, checked everything thoroughly, and gave me a really good rec. for a vent cleaining company. They were also right on time, and very friendly and professional. I will definately call Lanny Adams the next time I need something fixed.

I've used Lanny Adams for all my appliance repairs...AC/Heating unit, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. They always show up on time and will go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Call them and you will not be disappointed.
