This place has some great tasting food for decent prices. It is a really neat place, a little eclectic with a cool feel. I have been impressed with the food on each visit and the desserts are nothing to laugh at! Get over there and eat...just don't expect to park in their lot...it is small.

If you want to try something really, really good - try the praline chicken. Especially if you enjoy that 'taste of pralines'. And don't forget to order some fried green tomatoes, just simply wonderful. Prices are very very reasonable for the quality and quanity of food you get.

The walnut chicken really is to die for, as are the white chocolate sweet potato pancakes. The chefs at Last Resort are very creative, and everything they come up with is very good. They also have an impressive wine collection. The lunch menu is reasonable, as is brunch on Sunday, but be prepared because dinner is somewhat expensive.

I really like eating at Last Resort with friends. The menu offers a wide selection and is pretty good. They also bring out pretty large servings, so you can save some for later.

i like meat and healthy portions and i feel like this place isn't what it's all talked up to be. always crowded and quite expensive. it does have a very unique menue and the atmosphere is nice.

The restaurant has a great selection of unique dishes and classic favorites with a southern twist. Larger portions are served of the menu items, and the bakery cakes are incredible.

Last Resort is a great place to take a date. It has a beautiful setting that really sets the mood for a great night. This restaurant would be a great place to take someone on the first few dates.
Last Resort is one of Athens' best restaurants. The service is great and the food is amazing. You absolutely have to get a dessert there because they are heavenly. Also it's just great to support them because they are a very giving local business. They really try to help the Athens community.
I really liked the look of the restaurant with what looks like the original walls and artwork. It has a great patio for people watching and they also close it in and heat it in the winter. Expect good quality gourmet style portions. It's also the only place I've found in Athens that has a full pastry display for you to pick an choose from.
