I took my nearly new comforter to Lee Cleaner to be dry cleaned. I asked the proprietor to dry clean it because I had gotten something on it. He ruined it by washing it in the washing machine, and drying it in the dryer. When I took it back to show him, he said he washed and dried it because it was polyester and made in China. He said he didn't care what the tag said, and that my comforter was fine. The fabric is ruined and the inside is all balled up and crooked. He was very rude, cursing at me and calling me crazy. This was a very intricate and expensive set, and no one in their right mind would even consider washing it in a machine. He refused to reimburse me for the comforter even though he ruined it, and I had the receipt from when I purchased it. I found him to be unethical, and am so disappointed that there are people like that out there.

This review is way overdue. Have been coming here weekly for well over 5 years now and the service has always been great. The folks running this place are very nice and friendly, remembered our names after only a couple of visits.

I've been bringing my slacks to Mr. Lee for several months, and I am so happy with his service, that I wanted to take a moment and write this review. Prices are very reasonable, and garments are done on time or before you need them. Mr. Lee is a friendly, honest hard working guy with an efficient business.

I have been taking my dry cleaning there for years and have had no difficulties. Everything is ready either on time or earlier. I actually paid for dry cleaning, turned around and walked out. Three weeks later when I needed my suit, I searched the house top-to-bottom and finally call Lee and asked him if my pants were there. He said they were and that after I left, he had tried to chase me down but it was too late. So he kept them and let me know that they were already paid for. Can't beat that sort of honesty. Nor his memory - he remembered me out of all his customers but had no phone number.

I brought a dress & jacket to Lee's to be altered, and the dress came back on time. I do not know anything about tailoring, so I cannot speak to the quality of the work. I can say that it was not done on time. I had to go back three times for the jacket, and each time I was given a different reason why the jacket was not ready (it had been too hot, a truck damaged the awning on the drive up, and so on). When my fianc called to ask if the jacket was ready there was a communication problem. To be fair, I will be the first to acknowledge my fianc does not communicate well over the phone. At any rate, the price jumped up $15.00! My inconvenience did not seem matter a bit. So if you take something to be altered here, be prepared to wait if it is hot outside, and please don't make them angry or you will pay more!
