She knows exactly what's wrong with your vehicle. The first time I took my car there was for emissions testing. It failed because I needed a solenoid valve replaced. She fixed that which made the check engine light turn off and stay off, and then my car passed the emissions test. I've also taken my car there for engine oil leaks and a transmission leak. My car would also jerk forward sometimes and she replaced my car engine mounts for a good price which I think got messed up from a front impact car accident last year. I think the accident caused the leaks too. She even assisted with my car after another mechanic messed it up (not my choice, someone else took my car to this no good mechanic). Nonetheless, her and her family and team of mechanics are very knowledgeable and competent to fix your car!

Don't be fooled by the surrounding junky area and the rundown fence, hand painted sign, etc. This shop looks like a junkyard, but provides honest, knowledgeable work. If you are a female concerned about car mechanics lying and charging you to fix things that are not broken, this auto repair shop is run by an honest female mechanic named Mercy. She did not charge me to look at my car, run diagnostic computer codes and ultimately get my car to pass the emissions test. Before coming to M&M Muffler, a mechanic at an auto shop that runs emissions tests ran my test and gave me a failed report. I already knew my check engine light was on and a previous mechanic said it needed a thermostat. My taxes were due so I needed it fixed that day so I let him run diagnostics (for which he charged me $110). After diagnostics, he provided an estimate of over $1226 for a thermostat and a bunch of other stuff. I left that place, did some online research and found the proper way to diagnose the problem for the failure codes. I took my estimate, my new knowledge and failed test to Mercy at M&M Muffler. She tightened my gas cap, reset the computer and had me drive halfway across Atlanta & back to see if the computer would kick out the same codes again. The codes were not re-triggered, and my check engine light has not come back on, even after several days. I passed emissions. If my check engine light comes back on, I trust Mercy at M&M Muffler to level with me and fix it at a low price.
