I am overcharged $1100 for a moving and they weigh my 2000 pounds stuff to 3800 pounds and reject a reweighing request. They are very very rude. Try to avoid them if you don't want to be robbed.

I used this company once and I will not even recommend this mars van lines to my enemy. Mr. Penny / Pini (real name: Pinhas Ben-Yehashua) is a dishonest man. The company initially was extremely nice but as soon as they got my stuff it was a complete switch. My shipment was delayed, I was charged almost double (in hidden delivery charges) and I was threatened over the phone by Penny that they will throw my stuff away. This was the worst experience of my life. Please do not do business with Mars Van Lines from Atlanta ever. It would be a HUGE MISTAKE. They also lost some of my belongings and broke several of my furniture such as my bed ... and they also lost the screws and hinges for some of my furniture, making it completely useless. When the stuff finally arrived, they wouldn't bring it in until I paid them hidden charges of up to 800 dollars in CASH ONLY (they would not accept a check or credit card ... I had to run to the ATM for this and they put a ridiculous 15 minute deadline otherwise they would throw away my stuff), the delivery truck driver literally threatened to throw my stuff away and so did Penny over the phone. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I had a large cross counrty move and all was fine until the day of the move when they were 5 hrs late and demanded cash! They say cash, cc or cashier check but don't be fooled! They also feel it is ok to pack a lawnmower on top of a very nice solid wood table, obviously inexperienced! Still waiting in another state for my furniture and the BBB is my next call. Trust your belogings to someone else!!!

I used MARS Van Lines to move from the east side of Atlanta to the north side. The price was better than most companies I called. The sales people were very helpful with all my questions and concerns before the move. On moving day, the team was on time, very respectful and careful with my belongings. I had no damages and they got done sooner than I had expected. I would definitely use MARS again and I have recommended them to several friends. Thanks MARS Van Lines for a wonderful move!

I had a very big move with Mars. They were very nice and responsive until the move. They did not do a lot of the things they promised. The move was terrible. Too many bad things to list in 250 words. But to name a few, packaging from foods and drinks they ate from my home, packed in with box upon box that they knew would not be opened for months. Many, many broken items. Nothing labled as to what it really was or what room it was really from. They would not respond to any of my emails after the move. Once they have your money, look out, because they could care less after that.

Mars did a fine job getting me packed and out of my condo in Atlanta. However, they were terrible getting my stuff moved into DC. There was only one guy to move all of our belongings into our townhouse in DC, and it took him 10 hours to finish the job. I even had to help move in 4-6 of the larger pieces of furniture, because they understaffed the job.

Based on several estimates that I received, I decided to choose Mars Van Lines. I am glad that I did. They came to our house to give us an on-site visit which I liked. Their estimate was competitive to the other estimates, but lower. The day of the move went very smoothly. They were on time and did a good job. I paid less because they were able to move us less than the time estimated. I would highly recommend them and would use them again.

I returned from Iraq to Ft. Bragg/Fayetteville, NC on 27 March 2004. I signed a lease on 30 March. All of my belongings were in storage in Atlanta, GA. I wanted to get them as soon as possible. After calling several companies trying to get pick up and delivered on 3 April 2004, I contacted Mars Van Lines. THEY MADE IT HAPPEN! And with NO DAMAGES and at a reasonable cost. Both the office personnel and relocation team provided excellent service and personal assistance. I have and would recommend them to anyone that asks about a moving company.
