i dropped by to buy chocolates as an anniversary gift and was pleasantly surprised to see their lunch choices. since i was famished, i also ordered a sandwich to go. the vegetables were very fresh and they wrapped it up real nice, like it came from an expensive deli. i will go back more often.

New location nearer Chamblee station - I can walk there! - - - Of course the chocolates & pastries are incomparable (and relatively inexpensive!) but I also love LOVE love their lunch offerings now. Just a couple, and just a couple little tables - but SO fresh & perfect. - - - - Of course on just-made breads, their sandwiches are with FRESH ingredients and it makes a difference. But their quiche - I THOUGHT I liked quiche, but I had NO IDEA. It is so light with cheese from Lorraine - I can't explain it. I just had to buy a couple of the frozen ones for home as well. - - - - - Someone said the customer service was iffy, but I found them all low- pressure, happy to talk and talk about their confections, & offered tastes of practically everything. - - - - Their new location has skylights and big industrial offices inside the building - and you can watch them making their "petit fours!" I feel like France has just dropped onto my doorstep!

The chocolate is excellent and the owner, Robert is an artisan and very nice to talk to. The downside is the rude help. When inquiring if certain packages of chocolate were made on the premises, I was told no and given an explanation of the origin. When I asked about the source of another package, the answer was "apparently we are not communicating". Not the response a customer would expect. The product is worth the price for a special occasion. Save yourself the rude treatment and order online. I will not go into the shop again.
