Maltby Cafe is famous for their cinnamon rolls and rightfully so. A roll about the size of my head was big enough to split four ways and swimming in frosting. The scrambles are hearty, and served with plenty of red-skin potatoes, thick sliced hickory bacon. You'll have to wait at least 30 minutes on the weekends, so come earlier than when you actually want to eat.

This is a destination location for breakfast! Everything is delicious! Open for breakfast and lunch only. Their cinnamon rolls are extraordinary and one roll will feed four people.

We venture south from Lake Stevens once a month on average to visit the Maltby. I'm there for the HUGE bacon and hopefully one of the homemade eclairs. It's about a 20 minute drive, but well worth it. Go early, never been there and gotten right in.
