The Grand Hyatt is a gorgeous property. The rooms however are overpriced and really are nothing special. Views are great, but you can get the same view next door at the Marriott for 150 bucks per night cheaper. The customer service is at about a 2. They first gave me the wrong room, then forgot to give me my breakfast vouchers, and forgot to give me the informaiton on the regency club (I paid extra for this). Each time I asked, they told me to go to the concierge. When I went to the concierge, they told me to go back to the front desk. It was very frustrating. Each time I was in line at the front desk, I witnessed customer escalations. I don't recommend staying at the hotel, but I do recommend going in and walking through the hotel, going to the 40th floor for a drink at their bar and having lunch at their restaurant Sally's which is right next to Seaport Village.

Time and time again I have attended events at this facility. The service is always superior. The staff is helpful and friendly. The food is wonderful, and displayed magnificently. Location is everything in San Diego, spectacular views.

When I booked a room at the Hyatt, I made the mistake of not checking how close it was to a particular destination. Since it was too far away, I decided to cancel. Well, although the staff was friendly, I was charged a fee even though I canceled well in advance. Before you book, make sure this is the right hotel for you otherwise you will have to pay.

Another five star Hotel! Manchester Grand Hyatt is beautiful. I had my senior prom held here and I couldn't ask for a better place. Parking is excellent and it is very close to Seaport Village.
