Our experience with Marimont was outstanding! The entire staff is caring, patient, kind and knowledgeable. Marimont teaches based on Montessori principles and encourages creativity, play based learning and critical thinking. Our experience over 3 years was one that set the foundation for our sons comprehensive abilities, sense of care for others and critical thinking skills. Top notch service, with a top notch team!

Boy, what a surprise!! You cannot get this INCREDIBLE teaching quality ANYWHERE else! The low tuition rate is only a bonus! At a young age of 2.5 my daughter was able to point out "Machu Picchu in Peru" pictured on my PC screen. At the age of 3.5, she knew the names of all 7 continents, outsmarting her 7 year old brother. At the age of 5, when she went to Public Kindergarten, she was reading at an almost 2nd grade level. FANTASTIC FANTASTIC. Now my youngest is attending. I wish I had known about this place with my first/oldest, I regret him not going here. Mrs. Rachel, Ms. Taqeria and Ms. Abigail (and all the assistant teachers) all make A+++'s in my grade book !! Stop looking for schools. You FOUND it!!

My second child is now in Kinder at Marimont, after having sent my first child there for three years. They challenged and engaged my kids in everything they did. From poetry recitals to creating special lessons just based on their interests, it is amazing to experience! I feel blessed to have found such a treasure of a school. Ms. Rachel is one of the best teachers you will come across. I've sent so many families here and everyone has loved it. Stop by and visit and you will instantly see that it is a place full of respect, peace, and growth.

My two daughters had the privilege of attending Marimont over a span of 3 years. We have since moved away from the Pflugerville area and as the months go on we are often asked how we like our new location in Austin. The response is always as follows "we love it, but we really miss the place the girls went to Montessori in Pflugerville - there is no comparable service in our area now". During the years we were happily utilizing Marimont, we saw our girls be nurtured and learn through a love of exploration. Our oldest went into 1st grade ahead in all aspects, especially reading and math. Our youngest was legibly writing her name at 3 years old. More importantly was the respect they learned for their world and one another. We greatly appreciated the diversity and tuition aspects of the school. Health is encouraged through food and outdoor play in a more significant way than you will find at most nearby schools. I would highly recommend Marimont to anyone in the Pflugerville area. The #1 thing we miss about Pflugerville is this precious gem.

Our children have been at Marimont for the past two years and have had an incredibly good experience. Rachel is a wonderful teacher, whose passion for teaching and helping children learn compassion, kindness and mindfulness is evident. We marvel at the types of things our girls come home and talk about. They are learning concepts so advanced - and yet grasping them perfectly. In addition, the school has an intimate feel - and a nice shaded playground. Our girls have loved their time at Marimont, and as parent's, we have felt completely at ease knowing our children are being educated in a safe and nurturing environment.

Dear Parents (and potential parents), I am currently working with Kudzu to remove the previous negative review. 'Anonparent' was never a parent at our school; unfortunately, we sometimes have to deal with misplaced criticism from employees or programs we have chosen to terminate from our services. Thank you for your understanding!

Seemed to go along with the principles of Montessori at first, but we were concerned that some very horrible things were taking place that either the teachers weren't aware of or weren't addressing. The staff seemed overworked and the buildings looked constantly dusty. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I am so happy I found this school, I have my 3 and 5 year old in attendance. I love the teachers and the structure. As with everything from pediatricians to schools you have to find the right fit for you and your lifestyle and personality. This school is highly structured but then in the learning areas provides open and free learning with light structure so kids can excel at their own pace. I love that we can work togehter to improve nehavior and the kids learning and social experience. LOVE IT!

Both of my children started at Marimont when they were 2 1/2 yrs old. My son is now 7, going to public school and still loves to go back to say hello. (I asked him to help me write the review and asked him what the best thing about Marimont was? He said, "EVERYTHING!" )At his current school, he is in their talented and gifted program for both math and reading. He is independent, well-behaved , respectful, and happy. I owe much of this to Marimont. My daughter is almost 4 now and still attending Marimont. She loves to learn and loves her teacher! She is different from her brother, and the teachers recognize that. They do such an amazing job of getting to know each child as an individual and then encouraging them to use their individual strengths. Communication with the teachers is fantastic! I know what is going on daily. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is Marimont has been an essential part of helping my children grow both intellectually and socially. Our family will always be grateful for having found such an outstanding school! We love them like family!

My granddaughter has attended Marimont Montessori School for 4 years. I am a former teacher's aide, and Marimont's staff and curriculum are the best I have ever seen. There is great open communication between ALL staff members and family members. The staff to student ration is excellent. I feel that the learning atmosphere at Marimont is of the utmost high quality that you can find anywhere. This school provides many varied cultural experiences and hands on lessons and projects. Family members are always encouraged to participate in their student's educational experience. Marimont uses the Montessori model to tailor-make your child's learning experience according to their needs. In addition, the school setting itself is homey and very welcoming. It is well maintained, and all aspects of the classrooms are customized toward the learning experience of small children. The beautiful garden-like playground is set under many shady, mature live oaks and other trees; and it is constantly under the supervision of multiple staff members. I always speak highly of Marimont Montessori and recommend it to anyone who is looking for the highest quality learning experience for their preschooler.

My 5 year old has been attending for a year and a half and absolutely loves it. The teachers are dedicated and caring and get to know the children and parents. The curriculum is amazing and the environment promotes learning in a fun and yet effective and age appropriate manner. I am so glad we found Marimont!!

Ihave a very active 4 year old that attends MMS. We love the school, staff and all the programs that are shared with the kids. The staff is very patient and caring with the kids. My little one enjoys waking up and going to see her teachers and friends. I would highly recommend this school.

My son is having a great experience. THe teachers are really dedicated. He has learned a lot. Yes, they are very firm with the children but in a loving way. I've never seen any teacher raise their voices with a child. My older son went to another very good Montessori school and I'm happy to say that I like this one even more.

I carefully studied more than 10 daycare options for my son, and was so pleased to find something inspiring. Unfortunately, I was very mistaken. I am concerned other parents would make my mistake! I am enjoying a more expensive daycare now, but definitely worth investing into a more humane and professional approach!
