We have been many times with more than one vehicle and always trust their opinions and diagnoses. If they are not sure what it is and try something, they don't charge us until they solve it and fix it. Reliable and affordable.

My parents first used Massey's Automotive when we moved here in 1982 to fix their yellow Opel when Fred was on the corner of Powers Ferry and the 120 loop. When I started my landscaping company in 1984 he was the first person I went to. Massey's has been servcing my fleet of vehicles now for 24 years! Over the years I have sent many friends his way and all have been very happy with the outstanding customer service.

The Massey Team takes care of our family - 2004 Honda (70,000 miles), 2000 Taurus (117,000 miles)and my son's 2005 Mustang (22,000 miles). If you want an old fashioned neighbor where the work is done with a smile, priced right and done right the first time then go see Fred Massey.

I have used this business for over 7 years. I have taken both of my 69 Buick Convertibles for various repairs as well as all of my newer family cars for scheduled service and repairs. I have always received prompt, courteous service and excellent repairs. I do not hesitate to recommend this shop whenever I am asked and even sometimes when I am not.

I use and recommend this shop to everyone I know. As a former German car mechanic myself, I know when mechanics are capable and when they are not. These guys really know what they are doing. They have taken on some difficult service and diagnosis problems on some of my cars and handled them well. They are fair and they stand behind their work.

Had estimates from two other shops for over $1200.00. Massey took the vehicle and spent the time determining my true problem; a defective tire. They installed my spare and problem was solved saving me money and unnecessary repairs. Will definitely continue using they're friendly, clean and very professional.

I took a classic car in for brake work and they were very careless with the vehicle. A number of dents and scratches were made, the car lift put a hole in the bottom of my car b/c they were careless and did not know what they were doing. The brakes were not done right, took it back to them twice and it was never fixed. I am out $500 but will never take another car there again. Do not recommend!

I am a very involved owner and would welcome a conversation with this customer. I have never had these problems brought to MY attention and none of my staff can recall this customer. We spent extra money on environmental approved, inground lifts to NOT damage vehicles and find these complaints the first of their kind. All other reviews are glowing and I welcome the opportunity to convert this customer into another loyale follower of our firm that has been growing since 1977.
My first visit was in 2007. I had some diagnostic work done. Massey did the work quick and at a reasonable price. The owner, Fred, gave me a ride to my work about 5 miles away (nice people and great service). Today (Mar 2008) I took my 1999 Truck in to have the front ball joints replaced because another repair shop had told me the joints were bad and had to be replaced ($700). I was convinced that this repair was needed when I dropped my truck off with Massey and asked them to schedule the work. They could have just made this replacement and I would have paid the $700 not knowing the truth. Instead, after a full check by multiple (highly qualified/certified) employees they determined I just needed an alignment!!! Thanks Keith! Wow, honest mechanic shop!!! All of the people I've met there have been very friendly and professional. I'll be back to Massey when I have another auto problem.

I brought in my beat up old pickup with close to 200k miles. It was running terribly and I had spent 6 months trying to fix it myself to avoid getting ripped off by a mechanic. I finally took it to a different mechanic and was told things that didn't make sense and given a qoute of $1500. I decided to try Masseys after reading reviews on kudzu. They kept it a few days, fixed the real problem, and now it runs like almost new. I know enough about cars to know when someone is lying to me. The guys at Massey told me the truth and fixed the problem for a fair price, which ended up being lower than their original quote and over $1000 less than the other guy. I will definitely go back the next time I need a mechanic.

I have used Massey Automotive for about 10 or more years. I know that when I take my car in and they tell me something needs to be done that it is for real. TRUST is the major word here. The price is good for the value you get. Do you really want the cheapest mechanic working on your car??? Fred Massey, the owner/founder is an upstanding person and well known and liked in the community.

I took my car to Massey after reading the good reviews here, b/c I had an older car and wanted to find a good trustworthy mechanic. This is not what I got. I was quoted one price and then charged another ($400 more) for work I never approved. They agreed with me and we settled on a price that was still $200 more than the qouted price (I just wanted to be done and they had done the work, even though I didn't want it). My car died 1 week later (not neccessarily due to their work) and I didn't even try to bother about the warranty. The risky predicament the car was in was the reason I didn't want to spend alot on the repair in the first place. I asked at every stage the price of each repair/part, but was still overcharged. They were pleasant and tried to solve the problem, my main complaint was the work I never approved to be done to the car in the first place.

Burned out Odyssey engine. Had 3 options. Read Massey's reviews and decided to go with them. Best price and best warranty offer along with best reviews. Very pleased. Picked up the Honda, timely work, competitive price. Have had no issues. Will go back for sure.
