Recently, my husband and I bought our first house. It started getting cold and I called our furnace company. I was told we may not have our gas on or a setting may be off. After trying a few things the heat still did not work, so then I was told we had a warranty and they would send a person out to look at our furnace. It turns out we did not turn on the gas. So, we called the gas company and they turned it on. A week later we got a bill for 94 dollars from the furnace company. 94 bucks for a guy coming and looking at out furnace for thirty seconds and saying yep you got to call and turn on the gas. When I called to discuss our bill with the company the same woman I spoke to the first time answered. She was very, very rude to me. She assumed I had not paid my bill, not true, told me I should have know the gas was not on. Originally she had stated we had a warranty and it would not cost for someone to come out. After we got the bill she said she did not feel the need to tell us the gas being off was not covered in the warranty. The worst part was how overly rude and sarcastic she was with me. I never once was rude back, I did ask her to stop being so rude, but she continued. I do not understand how companies can make it being so rude to customers. I can see good customer relations is not important to this company
