Andrew provided me with an "Ah ha!" moment from day one when I needed assistance with a toxic environment. From there, he actually provided real tools to deal with the environment so that we could quickly move to the real issues at hand. For more than a year I looked forward to my sessions with Andrew because I knew I was being heard, understood and coached so very effectively. I still keep in touch with Andrew and the McConaghie Family and owe a great deal to Andrew for the forward movement in my life today. Thank you McConaghie Family!

Working with Tara changed my life. I am 39 years old and have seen several different therapists since college for help with anxiety and OCD. Though I often found therapy comforting, I did not experience significant change until I worked with Tara. In my opinion, she is gifted at what she does - she was able to help me change my perspective and outlook and helped me practice and develop strategies to manage my symptoms without medication. My quality of life has improved significantly. Thank you, Tara!

Tracy McConaghie and McConaghie Family Counseling were recommended to us by our son's teachers. We are so glad we trusted that recommendation, as he quickly bonded with Tracy. She did an excellent job helping him learn how to express his anxieties and develop ways to cope. Our son regularly uses the tools Tracy taught him and has made great strides. We are very grateful to Tracy and her caring, expert guidance!

Working with Tracy has changed our entire family dynamic for the better. She used a myriad of techniques to help my daughter overcome anxiety, anger, outbursts and sadness. She also worked with my husband and I to help us understand our daughter's challenges and the best ways for us to cope and respond. It is a gift to be able to refer others to a trusted practice.

Nothing was working with our challenging preschooler. We were frustrated and worried and we know something needed to change in how we were dealing with those challenges or we could be facing more serious issues. Through our work with Tracy, we gained valuable parenting skills and an understanding of what our daughter needed and how to manage parenting dilemmas. While most child and family therapists have an understanding of the issues parents face, what sets Tracy apart is that she provides real, practical solutions. If you want the best parenting support, go see Tracy. She is amazing.

It is amazing what Andrew has been able to teach us to help make our marriage better...probably helped save it. His manner in communicating with us and working to improve ourselves and our marriage has been fantastic! We cannot thank him enough for everything he has done. You can't find a better person or place to go for counseling.

It is difficult to adequately express my gratitude to Tracy and McConaghie Family Counseling, but I will give it my best shot. I dealt with depression and anxiety on my own for many years before going to MFC. I was extremely skeptical about therapy, and Tracy's ability to help pull me out of the dark hole I was in. Much to my surprise, I found myself enjoying therapy. It provided me a much needed outlet for my thoughts and emotions. Also, Tracy is an absolute well of patience and support. She made me think so much more highly of myself than I ever thought possible. She made me reconsider checking myself into a hospital when I was severely depressed this past summer. That choice saved my life, and the guidance and empathy she gave to me are a big reason as to why I am alive today. MFC has been a true blessing in my life, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is feeling hopeless, and needs good people to talk to.

I know, sometimes you look at your spouse and think "Has s/he been taken over by aliens?" Sometimes there are silences so huge between you that it seems impossible to bridge. But somehow, sitting in front of Andrew the bridge is built. We have learned that perspective is relative, communication is everything, and empathy is possible even in the most stressful situations. He teaches us specific tools to use in real life. The net effect has been that we communicate more, argue less, and have learned that sometimes combining apples and oranges can be the start of some pretty good fruit salad. Thanks Andrew!

When a parent makes bad decisions, becomes estranged, it affects everyone. A child can be very forgiving. But for good reason, the adults in that child's life are not. Though the estranged parent has dealt with his mistakes and is doing the right things, the other parent is hurt and cautious. Dealing with the dynamics in this situation are important if a father is to be in his son's life, but this seemed so impossible in my case. Tracy McConaghie carefully guided talks between my son's mother and I. Tracy guided us through the hurt, the fears, the past and what is important in the future. Now, mom and dad are able to talk and act, readily and positively about our son and his relationship with me, not as if nothing happened, but in that my son and I have the rest of our lives to know each other!

We were referred to Andrew & Tracy from a friend of a friend and are so thankful. Fortunately, my husband and I both wanted to work on our issues and Andrew is outstanding at balancing accountability and empathy, responsibility and forgiveness. We have learned so much from eachother through the help of Andrew and we are blessed. I am also thankful for Tracy who helped me individually. She is everything you want and need in a therapist and person! The cost may be expensive to some, but there is no cost too high for nuturing your relationships.
