Pitiful service and poor value. Owner made fun of prospects as they left the building, which I found childish! Why did he do this? Simply because they chose not to let him checkout their vehicle. The owner, doesn't know how to talk to African Americans and definitely needs to learn how to treat women. It may not be intentional, but he talks down to people as though he's higher than they are. When you address all people respectfully and with the same consistent titles you can't go wrong. Black people notice when you call a white person sir and then address them differently and talk down to them, it's not right. Maybe it's the I'm a business owner mentality, but the word about Meadow's Automotive is spreading rapidly through the African American community in Jacksonville Illinois. We're simply not going to deal with jerks stuck in a time warp. This is the reason why people picket businesses...If you're going to run a business you have to change with the times and treat all people with dignity, respect and fairness.
