Please do not for any reason bring your car here for repairs or servicing. They are terrible at service and the Manager had an horrible attitude. He was shouting me down even when the estimated work time had lapsed and I was overcharged. Please this location is horrible. Go somewhere else, please.

I had an issue with my car sometimes not starting up after driving but after waiting about 15mins or so it would start up with no problems. I immediately took my car in to see why and they came back in about 30mins and told me that my spark plugs needed to be changed and that was it. After paying over $300 to have that done, two weeks later while out shopping, my car started doing the same thing again. Took my car back in and after a few days of them having my vehicle, they then tell me they can not figure out what's wrong. Get my car back home and after describing the problem with my mechanic in FL., he mentioned that its possible that it could be the ignition module, water pump or temperature gauge and that it was HIGHLY unlikely spark plugs would be the problem. Took my vehicle somewhere else and had the problem fixed. The manager's only explanation at Mieneke in Stone Mountain for stating that my spark plugs was the problem is, "that's what the mechanic who worked on my vehicle said." Coincidently that worker no longer works there. Based off my experience with Mieneke, I learned that they don't know what they are doing and they are dishonest by doing unnecessary work. I will never use or recommend them again.

I took my car in to get brakes done in the fall. They called and said everything had to be replaced and it was going to cost me nearly $700.00. I asked Darrin if he could throw in a free oil change since we weren't prepared to spend $700.00 and he rudely said, "yeah, I guess if the $20.00 is that big of a deal to you". I pick up my car and he doesn't even speak to me. I guess he was mad about the oil change. I just had a bad feeling about the work that was done or not done. Within about two weeks, my front left brakes were squealing periodically and black brake dust has covered that tire every since. Today, I had to drop my car off at the dealer to get the front left brake completely replaced again since Meineke won't fix it for free. They confirmed that after seven months or so the brake pad was completely worn down and was a very poor quality. Darrin was completely rude and he talked down to me at every turn. Well, he got me . . . my car now has to be repaired again, but as a consumer, I can go online and let the other consumers out there know that they do shotty work and all of that talk about "lifetime warranties" on breaks is a bunch of crap! Don't trust these guys . . . they will screw up your car, take your money and be extremely disrespectful to top it all off.

It cost $130.00 to diagnose a bad a/c compressor. No repair, just the diagnosis. I went here to get a second opinion on a bad air conditioner compressor. They told me it just needed freon and the compressor was fine, so it would only cost $165.00. After an hour and a half later and after putting in freon, the owner said the compressor was bad. He then came back and said the compressor was not bad, it just needed time to get the oil into it and was working. I paid the money for the repair and left. The air was not blowing cold, so I turned around and want back to get a refund. but The owner said that the $165.00 was what it cost to diagnose the problem so he would just give me $35.00 back, which made no sense to me. I called the other Meineke's around town to ask what they charge to diagnose an a/c problem; They said they do not charge for a diagnosis. I called and told the owner this and he became very rude and said that he owns 9 Meineke's and he was not going to argue with me about this and was unwilling to do anything. So, I paid $130.00 for my car to be in the same condition as when I brought it in. There are many shops around that will not charge you to tell you what is wrong. I would recommend CV Experts right down the road. They gave me the original diagnosis and didn't charge a thing.

They gave my husband a quote on several things that needed to be worked on. They were then told to wait until we could talk so that we could decide on what needs to be fixed. They started working on the car without permission and still charged us for everything! I offered to pay for parts but the owner said there was going to be no compromise. Then went on to insult my husband's and I relationship

I had my vehicle repaired at this shop on 8/6/08. I was greeted by a new manager by the name of Tony. He went above and beyond the call of duty! I was given a great price, honesty and very professional service. Thank you!
