Call, order and pick up. This is not a place to "eat-in" unless you don't mind terrible service. It took over 10 minutes for someone to give us a menu, we had to sit ourselves as none of the 6 or 7 people working there noticed we were customers in waiting. I had to ask two people to come and clean our table and then come and take our orders.... An then the food came... Exceptional! the dough they use is perfect, elastic, not toasty, the flavors and smells flood your senses. Again, order for pick-up, then take it home and enjoy it.

The Mellow Mushroom chain is generally pretty consistent. This location is not bad, but it is not up to par with some of the other chains. I can't put my finger on it, but when I eat at this location, it is good food, but not as good as the Hiram location.

I recently stopped there with my wife on the way out of town from Atlanta and I had one of their subs. Well, long story short, I contracted food poisoning from the meal and spent the next 24 hours in bed. Not a good experience.

I fell in love with Mellow Mushroom in college, but unfortunately I can no longer stomach the Douglasville location. The service is always horrible and the pizzas are always undercooked leaving me a stomach ache

We Love your Pizza and Calzones but your ladies (plural)dropped the ball, I am a local restaurant manager and they being the servers were all hanging out (slow monday)by the drink station and oh by the way our drinks were empty pretty much the whole time, and our server only came by once durring the whole thing to drop the check 45 minute after we got our food, in our restaurant we drop the check with the meal so INCASE we are in a hurry we can pay quickly and relax at our lesiure well we were late and I figured I would pass the buck because we got written up for being late from lunch and this was because of a few servers horsing around. Chain reaction, cause and effect, this is what you guys did to our days.. thanks Dissappointed Jenny J. Powder Springs Ga

This is one of my favorite pizza places. Great food at reasonable prices- nice variety of items. The service is great too! They are closed on Monday's though! Try the pretzels- they are great!!

Yes, I know they are a small chain, but nontheless, Mellow Mushroom is still a chain. Founded in Athens, GA, its rapid spread across the Atlanta area has scared me it would become the churn shop like many good pizza joints of days gone by. But no worries! They have stayed true to their original, spring water crust pizza dough and loads of unusual toppings. They have fabulous sandwiches, their take-out is always ready on time. Their service staff is friendly, but casual at best, inattentive at worst. Still, it's my favorite place to eat pizza in Douglasville.
