Memphis BBQ. Tis is the orginal store. The atmosphere is nice. The service is good, it is always busy. The food quality it not what it used to be. The BBQ is just ok. Certainly does not live up to my expectations of living in Kansas City, the BBQ capital of the world.

The BBQ here is good. The PoBoys are great. The appetizers and most of the sides leave something to be desired. Don't even try to go near the lunch or dinner hours or you will be there HOURS waiting to be seated, waiting for your order to be taken, waiting for your order. Try the drive up service. It makes this restaurant worthwhile.

If you love REAL BBQ, done right the slowwww way, you must try Memphis. Las Vegas is a virtual wasteland when it comes to BBQ. I shake my head at all the cars I see go into Tony Roma's - YUCK! But Memphis... yeah... it's the juiciest, the tangiest... you get the picture! Memphis BBQ is THE BEST in Town. Just go travel down to Memphis to see what I'm talk'n 'bout.

I hear people rave about Memphis and quite honestly, I'm flabbergasted. We stopped visiting this location after the one in Henderson opened and stole the cook (I guess). The last time we went back it wasn't the same. We've had the Memphis in Henderson cater several office parties but the food was only ordinary. I admit the sides are good but you go to a rib shack for the meat! There are about 5 other places in town that are so much better and less crowded to boot.

I love Southern Style Food, but not the kind that is to home style. I guess if you are from Memphis and grew up on home style southern food, this moght be to commercial for you. I love taking the family here and getting the Momma Something meal, that will feed a family of 6 no problem. It is around $50. Man I wish I was eating there now.

I have visited this establishment several times. So far I have been pretty satisfied. I normally order the King BBQ sandwich with a couple of sides, can't seem to go wrong there. The servers are always friendly. They do get a little crowded around lunch time, due to the business they generate from Nellis AFB.
