We took my wife's 2001 C in for a simple battery drain. It was the power seat computer. total cost +$700. They also "identified" over $3,000 of other "serious problems" that needed to be repaired immediately. We had heard their service advisers worked on commission & with the "serious problems" costing so much, we decided to get a 2nd opinion. The 2nd opinion cost us $130 for a small oil leak & we asked about the power seat. That repair would have been $300. We had done all warranty service through this dealership, since it's the only game in town, & wanted to believe that we were good enough customers that we wouldn't be scammed this way. Apparently not.
