Metro comfort Masters in Stockbridge,GA sent a technician out June 11 and he said that I needed a new expansion valve and filters and had to order parts. The second technician came out June 23 and said I had a completely different problem:that my condensing coil was dirty and unit low on pressure. I was charged $471.00 for these two visits but told, "That I was good to go!" 13 days later, on July 6 the air condtioning unit that they were working on caused water damage to my upstairs hallway and foyer. They sent out a technician and told me that "They did nothing wrong and told me it was my job to do preventive maintenance." I told them that they have been in my home 8 times and I wrote them checks totaling $3,008.90 in the past 6 years. I left 5 messages in 10 days and sent a letter to this company, but they have yet to return my call. I also will document emails to them. I looked them up on the Better Businesses for Georgia and their accreditation was revoked on June 12, 2008 due to failure to respond to one or more customer complaints filed with the BBB Stay away from Comfort Masters if you're smart!

Metro Comfort Masters of Atlanta (and Stockbridge) installed the hvac units for my new home improperly, and when I requested repairs while still under warranty, they did not even respond to my repeated phone calls or emails. I strongly recommend avoiding Metro Comfort Masters. Details: 1)Metro Comfort Masters of Atlanta/Stockbridge improperly installed the hvac condensation line. A portion of it was NOT EVEN CONNECTED! So, a few weeks after moving into the new house, we had a huge water leak through the freshly painted ceiling. We had to tear the drywall out, remediate a mildew problem, and go through the hassle of reinstalling drywall and repainting. 2)Metro Comfort Masters of Atlanta and Stockbridge did not even insulate the hvac condensation line when it passed through the exterior wall! So when the temperature outside got below freezing, the water in the line froze and the unit automatically turned off. With two small children and NO HEAT, this was a major problem! 3)Metro Comfort Masters of Atlanta and Stockbridge, Georgia did not properly install the heating air ducts to my daughter's room so that it was 5 DEGREES COLDER than the rest of the house! They won't return my phone calls, emails or letters even though I'm under warranty. I wish I had hired another company.
