I made an appt with Michel Benaroch personally and came to my appt with specific pictures of what I wanted. He told me his office booked the appt wrong and he did not have time to complete what I wanted. He did not do a fine highlighted as I asked it was chunky and dark. Came back for him to fix he told me I never showed him pictures and highlighted my hair too yellow. Decided to give him 1 more chance. To fix yellow he added platinum blond at roots!!! Looked terrible like I never had my hair done and now roots look so dark and unnatural. I got better highlights at the beauty school!

I'm amending this as I did get a call from Michel offering for me to come in and have him work on my hair. I do appreciate the gesture. They completely fried my hair with the highlights and my stacked bob looks like they just took a chunk out of the back. My hair is still breaking off - it is so dried out.

Not only is Michel Benaroch the LEAST TALENTED HAIR COLORIST I've ever encountered, but Michel Benaroch HAS NO CONCERN FOR CUSTOMERS & refuses to resolve customer service issues. This is the WORST HAIR SALON IN THE COUNTRY I have ever visited -- and I travel weekly. In between bragging about "the important people he knew," Michel Benaroch high pressured me (and I mean, HIGH PRESSURED me) during an initial consultation and blowout appointment into a $240 (!!!!) color job I did not need. And then refused to refund me for his POOR QUALITY SERVICE. I have pictures of Michel Benaroch's horrible color service -- dark MUDDY BROWN with three Elvira-esque bright BLONDE STREAKS. I had to go to another service provider (Travis Parker Salon) three days after my HORRIBLE MICHEL BENAROCH HAIR STUDIO COLOR SERVICE EXPERIENCE. Travis Parker Salon (a respectable salon) charged me again for the COLOR CORRECTION. Travis Parker Salon even wrote a letter to my credit card company indicating that they had to do significant work to reverse the color damage done by Michel Benaroch Hair Studio. When my credit card company investigated, Michel Benaroch Hair Studio provided falsified information saying I was satisfied with the service (I was most DEFINITELY NOT). After I filed a credit card dispute against Michel Benaroch Hair Studio, I also incurred a VARIETY OF FRAUDULENT ONLINE CHARGES on my credit card. I've reversed the claim (again) with my credit card company. Horrible Salon!

As a 55 year old man who wants to cover some grey but leave a believable look, it is extremely difficult to find a colorist who knows how to do it right and will take the time. Fortunately, I met Holly who patiently explained why I keep winding up with unnatural brassy shades 3-4 weeks after getting my hair done and corrected some past sins in order to produce a perfect "salt and pepper" effect that fools even me. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Michel Benaroch has been coloring and cutting my hair for nearly 10 years. He is simply the best. Both his studios provide the utmost in quality service and consistency. Michel is like no colorist or stylist I have ever experienced. He listens to my needs and always makes my hair "come alive" with health and beauty. His studios are amazing as is the talent he has assisting him. You must try either Bella or Benaroch--you will see remarkable talent and quality. I drive from Orange County every month (as does my husband for his haircuts) because there is no one better than Michel. And if you are seeking extensions talk with Anita. I have tried several different stylists and no one does extensions as perfectly and naturally. She is amazing at her craft and truly wonderful person.

Lia Bonifacio spent 2 1/2 hours adding multiple colors and dimension to my hair. I'm pleased with her professionalism, creativity, and dedication in making sure I'm satisified with the end result. I recommend placing a call into Lia if you want your hair done right. Tina
