Bought QuarterOFF.com Deal for 3 Hours Workshop at Moreland Photography. The sessions were great and I could learn to take photographs in different types of situations. We could even take photos of real models. I will definitely recommend, specially when you get a Deal.

Bottom line, you will see great photos in the studio....great first impression. You might even overlook a bit of personallity quirkyness and write it off as "artistic". BEWARE! Folks, trust your intuition, I did not. My experience was about as horrible as it gets...fill in the blank. Notice the multiple addresses? It is hard for the marshals to find as they deliver court documents.

Even after paying for my pictures and having been promised that my photos would be ready, my pictures were nowhere to be found. My calls went unanswered and no one emailed me any updates. I hate the feeling I get knowing that I am being ignored even though he has my money.

I love my wedding pictures! They were exactly what I had hoped for. The pictures he took captured the moment because they showed movement and action. His artistic ability gave the pictures the edge I was looking for. I also enjoyed working with him as a photographer because he had a variety of options for his services, he had a lot of creative ideas, and he was willing to meet me for several of my engagement/wedding functions. He is a hard worker, a great listener and a pleasure to work with. I know exactly who I will go to when I need professional photographs again.

Mike is literally a "go-the-extra-mile" professional. He drove all the way to Asheville, North Carolina (on short notice)to take extra family photos. The pix really added the missing piece to the legacy book. Mike is not only a talented photographer, but he cares about his clients and the quality of his work. I highly recommend Mike Moreland!

I am having a small intimate wedding, and contacted him regarding a quote. He let me know that he was too important to photograph something small, but maybe his associate could do it. However, after reading the other reviews here, I think his arrogance ended up doing me a favor. I will definately go with someone else.

There is no doubt that Mike is a highly talented photographer - our wedding photos are beautiful. As mentioned by several other "dissatisfied" clients, the real issues begin post wedding. We're still waiting for our album - which we paid for in full prior to the wedding. Everytime my husband and I call and/or write we get the run-around, and most of the time it takes several attempts to actually get Mike or his assistant Pam to respond back. We're extremely frustrated with the lack of service & follow-through provided by his studio. You have little leverage considering that you are required to pay for everything up front. He is a talented artist, but has struggled with the concept of how to run an effective business.

If you're smart and don't like throwing your money away, the your answer should have been NO! If you use Mike Moreland you will not be happy and you will lose your money. It's that simple. He will take your money and you will be left with a hope and a dream on when you might get your pictures...if ever. If you're lucky you'll see them by your 2nd anniversary and before you have children.

I scheduled a photo session with Mike Moreland in February of this year. First of all, I never got a confirmation after scheduling the appointment 3 weeks in advance, nor did I get any type of reminder call or email before the session. As it turns out, when we arrived for our photo shoot his studio had been damaged by weather and he was unable to do our shoot. A phone call from him to re-schedule would have been appropriate, instead, when we got there he was nowhere to be found. He eventually showed up and told us we would need to re-schedule, even though my mother-in-law had a flight back to Denver that evening and we wanted the pictures taken with her. His way of apologizing was that we could re-schedule in a couple of months and he would "take care of us." When I called to re-schedule, his receptionist said she would take my date request, check his schedule and call me back. She never did. I called a second AND third time, left messages, but my calls were never returned. I guess Mike Moreland just doesn't need the business. Even if he did call back at this point (more than 3 weeks later) I would not trust him to be my photographer. Not only is he and his receptionist completely unresponsive, but I find this very, very unprofessional when you're trying to run a business. I'm sure his attitude would reflect in his work during and after the shoot. I would highly recommend not entrusting your photographs to someone who could care less about your business!

My wedding pictures were amazing, it's after the wedding where I ran into some problems. I have been married for almost 2 years now and STILL DON'T HAVE ANY PICTURES!! It all started when I was told to pick out 120 of my pictures to be used for the album. We took the time to pick out these pictures and only 16 were used when we saw the proof for the album. I had to have that changed and I felt like it was just thrown together. Time went by, still don't have my album. To top it off, you can't get the rest of the pictures until a year after you get your album. We spent close to $4000. Wish we would have used someone else!

Moreland Photography took our wedding photos and was the best choice of vendors for the entire wedding. Everything was wonderful..our pictures, the family pictures and the candid reception pictures. They were all wonderful. If you truly want something to remember from the best day of your life then this is the place for you.
