The fee you pay lists your home on MLS and FMLS which enables individuals to find your listing online and call you to set up an appointment. You also get a sign and lockbox, which allows agents to enter your home without your needing to be there. Milestone provides you with all necessary paperwork, but little else. You don't pay a selling agent's commission, so it's definitely worthwhile if you're not expecting to be able to recover commission through your selling price.

We sold our house through Milestone Realty this past month and saved about $5000 in RE commissions. We found them through a friend who also had success selling their home with them. They provide the seller with listing on FMLS and MLS and put together our internet listing ad (photos & details of home). In addition, they provide you with the various standard forms needed to sell your home, a sign and a lockbox. The company was very responsive and moved quickly to get the listing advertised on the web through Realtor.com and other local companies' web sites. When we wanted to modify our listing, changes were implemented within a few hours. The process worked very well, we were given good guidance by them and we were happy to save 5.5% to 6% in commissions!
