The experience: her medical assistant was nice, but before seeing the doctor, she said that since the appointment was a work-in appointment for the day, then only one matter could be discussed with the doctor...strange. Not spending a long time with the doctor during a work-in visit is understandable, but I think one should be able to ask a couple of quick questions from one's doctor during any visit. Also, she did not seem to want to prescribe antibiotics. I understand that antibiotics are sometimes over prescribed; however, in this case, they were necessary. She didn't want to prescribe them, and she didn't order a throat culture to determine if any were needed...went to another physician who prescribed antibiotics for the soar throat, and got well. (To be fair, this review is based on only a one time experience).

I was scared to change doctors after 12 years with the same doctor, but needed one closer to my home. I made a great choice in changing to Dr Minter. I never have to wait past my appointment time to go in. She spends time with me to answer my questions each time I go in for an appointment. She never rushes me through my appointment.

I scheduled an appointment for a physical in order to have a few general problems addressed. The drive was not short and upon arrival, I was told by the doctor that during a physical she did not answer questions, she simply asked them. I would have appreciated knowing this prior to my appt so I could have made the appropriate type of appt to address my concerns.
