I showed the stylist (Tracy) a photo of Gisele, asking to dye my blonde highlights to match my roots and add a few low-contrast peek-a-boo caramel highlights. I got espresso brown hair (which they tried to insist was my natural color even though I held a lock over an eyebrow and it was at least four shades darker) with horrible, skunky-looking bleached highlights. I will now have to spend about $500 over the next 6 months on correct color treatments to get my hair back to a decent shade. And maybe the kicker to it all? When I was talking with the stylist and the owner (Manager? She was never formally introduced.), I said I'd pay for the cut but not the color and the owner said no, I had to pay for the color, too. Oh, thank you so much. I really appreciate the opportunity to waste money on the worst dye job of my life. Save yourself the money and aggravation and go somewhere that employs technically competent stylists and won't charge you for their mistakes.
