I'm Seana, I used to work here as a groomer (from 3/2009-5/2011). Long story short, this was my second job and they didn't offer insurance. I had a job conflict come up and while searching for a new full-time job (with insurance), another groomer was hired behind my back. The whole time I was told I would be called if my request dogs (and I had quite a few) called and wanted to come in. I even visited the store after I started work at my new full-time job to give Christina the opportunity to be up front with me. She smiled and laughed and talked as though everything was fine. I was just left to "figure it out" when enough time had passed and no call came. I had a new part-time second job by the end of the week (after a technical interview). So, while they have great customer service and are an overall pretty good store(Clay and Cheryl are great people and groomers btw), I would not recommend this place if you are looking for a job. Also, some items (especially collars and apparel) are a lot pricier than you'd find elsewhere. I wish the other groomers still working there the best of luck! My e-mail is email@example.com for anyone who would like to e-mail me with questions, etc.

I love shopping here. The owners are very helpful and friendly. The groomer is a blessing with my dog. They always recognize me and asks about our dog by name, even when he's not with me. They offered samples of various dog foods to see what my dog would like without me investing in a big bag first. It was great because it turned out he only liked one flavor out of the three offered in that brand. They have excellent service and have been able to fit me in for quick nail trims- especially after he got hurt in the neighborhood from a dog attack and I didn't want to leave him there for long. Will continue to recommend and go back!!!

I'm so lucky to have M&P in my town. Christina and John make sure they've got the best of everything on the shelves. The DIY bathing is the bees' knees. But mainly I love to be in the store the rare moments they aren't busy so I can shoot the breeze with the proprietors. Cool people with a great shop that somehow makes uptight people turn and run to the big box stores.

What a cute shop! and they have tons of unique toys for all my little babies. I will continue shopping here for sure. The owner is also very helpful and knows tons about pet nutrition. Plus who wouldn't rather buy from a "Mom and Pup" shop than the big chains?!?!

I am a happy customer with happy dogs who have patronaged Mom & Pups for over 4 years. I have only wonderful things to say about Christina and John... always helpful and very knowledgeable. I read the previous post and do not believe a word of it. So sad someone would post unworthy words without thought to the owners. I HIGHLY recommend this wonderful little shoppe to anyone and EVERYONE! Very knowledgeable on pet health, food, treats and care. I even treat the local wild birds to this stores treats!

I don't know where MichelleLeek was shopping, but it doesn't sound like it was at Mom and Pup's. The owners are nothing but knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are better than those of the big box pet stores. The merchandise is better than those of the big box stores. I work at a big box store, and I recommend Mom and Pup's to my customers for quality items we don't carry.

Kind of felt like a snooty girl at the register, with not much in customer service, most items are well over 50% less on amazon... Overheard her refer to our County as Swasticobb county while browsing...

We washed our 2 dogs there recently and although I liked the owner and her father, I wish I had that $30-$40 back - If you are a senior citizen or an obese person, the service is for you - If you are just an avg. person, I don't see the "good deal/value" for leting me use the stall and some shampoo (ok - I also got 1 small towel, 2 ear wipes and a loud vacuum dog-blower to blow them off [ which was more trouble/pain than it was worth]) - I like the owner and like her prices on dog food - I will shop there but will not wash my "girls" there again - Very good prices on true PREMIUM dog food.

My cat had always looked and acted sickly until I took the advice (and free samples) of Mom & Pup's and put him on a good diet. Now he's filled out, is healthy and not barfing all the time. I get the food cheaper than at the vet's and we're both happy! I love this store!

Mom and Pup's is wonderful. The owners are extremely nice and helpful. Christina always asks me how my dogs, work, and family are doing...very personable. They carry great food, treats, and all kinds of other pet goodies. They give great advice, and I highly recommend them.

My sister and I brought our two yellow Labs in to get a self service wash. It was an excellent experience. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The store is very organized and clean with tons of cool dog toys that I have never seen in another store. This is the greatest idea for washing your dog with out the mess in your home. It was a really fun experience and I will be back for sure.

I called the afternoon before I wanted my dog groomed. They happily worked him in (since he is a small dog). When I arrived the next day, the owner was there and immediately greeted me as if she knew me already. I could definitely tell that she remembered I was coming. My dog was groomed very well, the service was wonderful...lots of personal attention. I will definitely be returning to Mom n Pup's!!!
