Description

Monti Electric, Inc. is an Oregon based union Electrical and Wireless Contractor shop which was incorporated in 1999. The company is headed up by President Stan Monti. Stan has been in the electrical trade since 1979. He completed his four year apprenticeship in 1982 through IBEW local 413 in Santa Barbara. At that time he also earned the title of "top graduate". A few years upon graduation, he was invited to be an instructor for the apprenticeship program. While working seven years in.. California, Stan worked on a wide range of civil and government jobs. One of the most rewarding projects was while working on the west coast Space Shuttle Launch Facility project located at Vandenberg Air Force Base. At that time, Stan became one of the youngest General Foreman ever in command. Additional projects have included Exxon's Los Flores Canyon natural gas refinery, Cater Water Treatment Plant, as well as several runway lighting systems. 1986 Stan relocated to Portland, Oregon. He worked for a large company that at the time did not have a commercial division. Stan created and developed a commercial division which he headed up as the Project Manager. In 1999, he made the decision to go out on his own and start his own electrical contracting company. It started as a small, modest shop, but with contracts for large projects with large companies. He has steadily developed and maintained strong relationships with many contractors and businesses. Presently, Monti Electric, Inc. has grown into a modest size company, with a strong, dedicated and knowledgeable team of employees.
