I've visited Moto 400 several times to have service performed on my bikes and to buy parts and accessories. They are hands down, consitently the best motorcycle shop I've ever been to. Everytime I walk in the door some of the employees remember my name and always speak. I've received some good advice on where to ride, including some primo secret stashes from the sales guys there, who are big riders themselves. I just love going there. To me, it's the way a shop should be. They are a motorcyclist's motorcycle shop.

I went for the long drive up there after calling about a test ride. I was told that even though it had rained as long as it wasn't raining it wouldn't be a problem taking a bike for a test ride. I got up there and with only one sales person on the floor helping someone else waited 45 minutes to find out I couldn't actually test ride one since the roads were wet (not very and it wasn't raining). I wasn't upset with the no test ride thing although it would have been nice to be told over the phone but that we waited at the sales table in the front for 45 minutes before anyone spoke with us. People walked by from the service department and the one sales guy was too busy talking up another customer to even walk over ask if we needed anything and if we would mind waiting a few minutes. The entire situation could have been avoided with some better sales service. I don't like high pressure sales, but none is just as bad. Seemed like a nice setup otherwise and the dealership looked well maintained. I was going to buy my bike from them probably that day if the pricing was right (and the 10k Tiger with luggage was right), but I ended up buying a slightly used Triumph from Craigslist the next day so they lost a sale. Can't speak to the quality of their bike service department.

I wanted to wait a few months before posting a review of Moto 400 to make sure the follow-up service and treatment were as good as the purchasing experience. I have to say that our purchase (1 new bike, 1 used bike) was an excellent experience and they truly are great to work with. They have a great selection and the service department is honest and work for the best overall customer experience. We had a clutch burn-out one the new bike and even though it technically wasn't covered under warranty, they recognized that there was a defect and got the factory to honor the repair. I really like dealing with these guys.

The hubby and I enjoyed our experience here because of the customer service. Especially one person in particular. Ask for Russell if you plan on visiting. He's very friendly and helpful. We make it a point to not buy from people who just ignore us when we walk in places and that didn't happen here. The only thing else I can advise is if you want a suzuki, plan on getting a loan through your bank because suzuki finance is outrageous!
