I was having car problems and because I'm a female, I was afraid of going anywhere because women have a tendency to get taken advantage of in these situations. I was soo pleasantly surprised when these guys described to me in detail what was going on with my car and didn't try to "upsale" me on things I didnt need. Tim and Bobby were extremely helpful and patient with me as I asked a million questions about the funny sounds that were coming from my engine. I am so grateful that I finally found a place to take my car!!! I highly recommend!!!!! The price they quoted was fair AND they gave me a free set of windshield wipers. YIPEEE!!

Mr. Tranmission is the WORST mechanic that I've ever dealt with! And they didn't even fix the problem! They hold your car hostage and their management sucks! I wish I could give them negative stars!

I realized now why they try to get you in for 'FREE' diagnostic. This is the way to get your car in pieces so you can't go anywhere else. Barry seemed very nice before I brought my car in. After the 'FREE' diagnostic, he tells me it would be $1198 for the labor plus about $350 in parts. Then once it's ALL apart, he said it would be $2300 for the parts!!!! Now I have no choice but to have them finish the work. Watch out for people offering 'FREE' diagnostic especially in this case with this shop. The people seemed nice before your car is dropped off and seems a lot less nicer now that they have charged my card. I will continue my review after I pick up my car. I do believe these other reviews are bogus, with no specifics, by the same people, etc, etc. I feel taken by Kudzu as well where any of the merchants can write their own reviews or have friends and family do the same in order to get a high rating. Be careful what you see here...

I got a new car with a transmission leak and I was able to get it fixed here. They also serviced the transmission and I am confident it will last a lot longer now. It works better than it did before and I didnt know there was problem.

On my recent visit I got a great first impression of Mr Transmission. They were very professional and answered all of my questions. The work was completed when they said it would be and everyone there was very courteous.

Here is the deal. Promise one price, get into the customer for $600-$700 in labor, then guess what, complete rebuild needed, either you give away the $600 for labor and still have a broken car or $2000-$3000 later you can get your car back. Told the business that I would give them a bad review so what you see is a PR campaign. Read all of the reviews and see what rings true. Estimate is always low, reality is going to be much more money, you have to call them always and it will take much longer than promised to fix the car. Please avoid this business. No personal attacks, just telling about what happened to us.

The job ended up being $600 more than Quoted, quit working shortly after and they would not honor the warranty because I could'nt find the paper. The speedometer ( it's part of the transmission) did not work when I got it back and they would'nt fix it. They pinched some wires and that ended up costing me several hundred $. Once they have your money you are useless to them and become a burden.

I had my transmission rebuilt out of state and was having problems again when I was in town 2 months later (check transmission light and 2nd gear slipping). The transmission was still under the "Mr. Transmission nationwide warranty" so I thought getting it fixed would be no problem. After taking it to a good friend who works on transmissions he told me exactly what was wrong. I then took my car here, waited a week, only to have them call and tell me there was NOTHING wrong with my car other than an EGR valve and a belt that were not under warranty and would cost me $500! Luckily, I knew better and instead of fighting with these crooks I drove my car directly from there to the Mr. Transmission in Roswell for them to look. Turns out they had to do a full rebuild once again because of the poor job that was done the first go around. These crooks in Roswell tried to lie to me, get my money, and give me a temporary fix that would last just long enough for me to get out of town. Stay away from this place- it's well worth the drive across town.
