Tiny museum with an interesting rotating collection and frequent, awesome lectures. The gift shop is one of my favorite design stores in San Diego. $10 buys you admission that is valid for 7 days at either MCASD location. Be sure to head around back and check out the canoe explosion off the side of the building.

This museum has two locations-one in La Jolla and one downtown. I visited the one in La Jolla with my mother and brother. We were not very impressed with the art on display. Although I was expecting art that was very modern, I was also expecting more than a canvas painted a single shade of brown and a line of stainless steel trash cans. While there were some interesting and talented exhibits, there were also a bunch of pieces that made you go, huh? The view from the back, the sculptures in the garden, and the well stocked gift shop were the best aspects of this museum.

I like art and this is one of the places to go in San Diego. They have a bunch of sculptures that you can take a look at. It does have a lot of weird random collections at time but I think it is pretty interesting what they have.

I've only been here once but I intend to come back soon because it was a long time ago. The place was gorgeous. The art displays are amazing. I could spend a whole day there if i wanted to.

i've been here several times to see the art and to watch the Festival of Animation. The theater area is nice and the art work is really good that is on display. The ocean view in the back area is beautiful.
