As a New Orleans transplant due to Katrina, I found myself sorely missing the food in the gulf coast. Anyone who has ever been there knows what I'm talking about. The first time I went, I was skeptical... lots of places claim to serve authentic gulf coast food but cant live up to it. This place does not have that problem. I believe the owners are also transplants, and it shows. It would be an excellent restaurant in NOLA, let alone S.D. The Crawfish ettouffe and the PoBoys are excellent. I eat here frequently and give it my highest recommendations!!!

This is a quaint little restauant on the same plot of land as the Whaley House in Old Town. It is run by two really great guys who have tremendous pride in their work. The food is really authentic and delicious. I actually proposed to the chef after trying my Crawfish Etoufee, right in front of my boyfriend. Definately give this place a try and you will leave wanting to go back as soon as possible. The menu is a little limited but definately worth it.
