I read one other review about a timing chain issue. This is what they're trying to tell me right now. They've had my car for two days so far and haven't even completed the diagnostic check on it. If the timing chain goes out and bends the rods, your car would making some serious noise. Mine just died at a stop sign. Nice try guys. Taking advantage of a woman - typical mechanics.

The service I've received at this shop was above my expectations. I found this place reading this reviews, they have affordable prices and knowledgeable mechanics. They replace the AC compressor and brake pads on my Mazda 3. I would highly recommend Nexus to anyone who needs quality work done. I'll be back!

I needed 2 front CV boots replaced on my Subaru after the dealership told me they needed to be replaced while doing a pre-purchase inspection. Nexus ended up doing the work after a friend told me about the shop for about $150 bucks cheaper, and they gave me a great warranty for the work. I also found out they could have done the pre-purchase inspection for a lot cheaper too! I'll be back!

Customer service is very poor , they never return my call and every time i call about my car they say that it will be done in two days and rush you off the phone , two months later they gave my car back and that is no eggzageration. Still not running well and blame it on my car being old i never had any problems with this car before they put that transmission in. if my car was so old why didnt they tell me to junk it before i paid 1800 dollars for the tranny. Rip offs

My 1996 Sebring blew a timing chain and messed up my valves. I called AAA for a tow & the driver recommended Nexus Auto Repair at 5803 Mission Gorge Rd. The general manager "Sam" gave me a reasonable estimate. Sam was very courteous, completed the job and my car runs fine now. I highly recomend Sam and the Nexus Auto Repair shop (619-516-5555) the next time you need any automotive service or advice.

The service I received at this shop was above what was expected. A tow truck driver referred me here after my car had been stolen, and I was pleasantly surprised at the affordable prices and the knowledge of the mechanics. After they fixed the ignition and battery in my stolen car, I came back a second time with my other car for a service and I knew I could trust them. They were so friendly and helpful that I even referred a couple of my friends to the shop who were also very pleased with the work done on their cars. I would highly recommend Nexus to anyone who needs quality work done at a fair price.

I decided to try a new auto repair shop after being unhappy with the service at my previous shop. I saw an add in the La Jolla Reader and decided to give Nexus a call. I could not have been more pleased or surprised at the service and quality of work. I needed new brake pads, rotors, and a transmission service and my truck was ready the next morning when they opened. I highly recommend Nexus Auto Repair they were friendly and quite personable. Everyone there was extremely friendly which made the experience of trying a new auto shop much more comforting.

I took my van into Nexus because it's performance had recently declined. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. I left the shop feeling happy and well cared for, and my van is now driving the way it should. I would highly recommend this shop to anybody.

I was referred to Nexus by a friend about a year ago and ive been bringing in my car ever since. I always receive detailed explanations of service recommendations. The staff is friendly and honest and the prices are reasonable. I would recommend this shop to anyone-especially someone looking for an honest mechanic.

Do you appreciate honesty, quality and value when having your automobile serviced? Then don't bother with Nexus because they have no clue what any of that is! They don't honor their warranties nor is the work that is supposedly performed done correctly. The owner, Sam, is just out for himself and the $$ regardless of his smooth talking. He makes you feel confident that his shop is top notch ... But that's just not the case. If you want quality work and service visit Mission Valley Shell Station and talk to Brian or John!!!! They'll treat you right and are very honest!!!!

I went to Nexus to service my car and they were fast, friendly and knowledgable. Sam the manager went out of his way to give me a ride and give me a good deal. I had my car back by the end of the day.
